can we talk about how frosts and freds tenures have started off almost identically? god awful first season and best player can't be counted on.

he's acting bigger than the team when he's a g-leaguer at best right now and isn't respecting his coach who played in the nba for 10 years and coached for 4. it would be silly for cam to leave with no other point guards on our roster, but at this point does fred want to deal with the off court issues and his on court demeanor?

nobody guaranteed to be. teddy seems to be the best all around player based on what he's doing in juco right now. he just scored 50 in a playoff game. banton has an nba body, but it remains to be seen what his skill is. cam has nba speed and passing, but his scoring and consistency is not great. y'van being 17 has potential, but is at least 2 years away. thor will probably be a pro overseas.

21 year old glynn watson had a statistically better season than 21 year old cam mack is having this year. i would not be mad if cam decides to leave. he has potential, but he's been really bad for team chemistry. if i'm fred, i'd be trying to get donovan williams back and try to put a 2021 back court of donovan,hunter, and teddy. that's a team we could all get behind and would be one of the most talented backcourts we've ever had.

guys, i'm starting to think we might not make the tourney this year.

finally shoot the ball half decent but give up 19 offensive rebounds. that's just the type of season we've had.

it's still absurd to me that we are 3rd to last in FT% despite having 4 guards in the starting lineup.

i will guarantee we have more than 7 wins a year from now. as far as guys leaving i would guess Arop, Easley, and Cross are the top candidates. Maybe burke if he can grad transfer. Maybe green if he wants a bigger role. unless we land a big recruit i predict our starting lineup next year will be Cam, Thor, Teddy,Dalano, and Y'van/Walker.

i agree, but there were mock drafts putting him at the end of the 2nd round earlier this year.

FWIW, cam has really hurt his pro prospects these last few games. his efficiency rating has dropped from 18.5 to 16.3 which is a huge drop for just 3 games. college point guards that get drafted typically have an efficiency rating of 20+. ja morant was 30 which is basically the highest for a PG. unless cam is planning to play in g-league or overseas, i would expect he'll be back next year.

i also liked cross in the starting lineup. he can do everything y'van can, but is also a threat from 3.

probably best effort of the year, but we still can't make 3s which is baffling because this whole team was built to make 3s.

ultimately this game doesn't matter. we're playing day 1 of the big10 tourney. we gotta figure out how to make 3s more efficiently if we want to make any kind of run.

he would have got it over the defenders with a floater. i don't know if he practices that.

when do we copy the rockets and stop playing a center? y'van and cross just aren't ready to play at this level. y'van missed 2 layups that lead to 2 transition 3s and now this game is already almost out of reach.

he's probably gone unless he gets chance to play the rest of the year.
