  1. Speaking of former Nebraska coaches, I hope Kenya Hunter gets a head coaching gig somewhere. Another good dude that deserves a shot.
  2. I think every coach who has ever coached has at one point in time had that same thought.
  3. I think if you take NU's performance last night and compare with OSU's performance tonight, NU comes out on top. Both games also tell me that when a team is playing for it's post-season life that team can be pretty damn good. Guess I am reiterating what Matt says above.
  4. Northwestern is up on Ohio State by 23 with only 12 minutes to go. OSU looks completely disinterested about playing a basketball game tonight. No rebounding whatsoever.
  5. I take back that comment I made earlier in a different thread about ESPN and Jay Bilas . Performances like this are exactly why they get no respect from the national media.
  6. Remember who he works for. ESPN is always going to put the ACC, SEC, and the Big 12 at the top. Plus, when's the last time he actually saw NU play in person.
  7. Regarding Bashir, personally I'd prefer they spend that NIL money on a blue-chip point guard from the portal. There will be other shooters out there as well.
  8. I had a feeling it would be a bad omen when our women kicked Maryland's ass. Cosmic forces just don't allow that much joy in one evening.
  9. IMHO, the invention of the TV mute button was the single greatest event in the history of the World. Even better than the discoveries of fire or gravity!
  10. If I am not mistaken I believe he is a preferred walk-on and not on scholarship. The coaches may be willing to keep him around longer than if he was on scholarship (if he wants to stay).
  11. I agree. Watching those last two innings gave me a headache!
  12. Not to mention a couple of additional misplayed infield grounders that led to the 4-run 6th inning.
  13. FYI, the NU v. Vanderbilt game in the Desert Invitational next Saturday will be televised on the MLB Network. Telecast starts at 7:00 pm Central.
  14. The NU v. Texas Tech game this afternoon will be televised on the MLB Network. I believe the telecast starts at 3:00 pm Central.
  15. My thoughts from the Pacific Northwest road trip, Great wasn't supreme and Supreme wasn't great. NU was just plain better than both. Looking forward to Sundays game.
