  1. Leads Bryce McGowens Dalano Banton Teddy Allen Trey McGowens plus Derrick Walker This would be a pretty interesting starting lineup. Supporting cast Yvan Ouedraogo Eduardo Andre Trevor Lakes Lat Mayen Elijah Wood Wilhelm Breidenbach Keisei Tominaga Who steps up to be the main contributors of this group or who may look for greener pastures remains to be seen. We have a lot of length for sure and potentially some really good shooters. ?? Shamiel Stevenson Akol Arop Thorir Thorbjarnarson Kobe Webster We still have one scholarship to fill to get to 13 (don't know how the extra year the NCAA will be giving will impact things). Will it be one of these guys? If so, I would bet on Arop.
  2. How about something a little more upbeat.
  3. Not that I heard, but I didn't listen to the radio broadcast so I don't know if it was asked there.
  4. For those who may be interested, Cam Mack debuted with a double-double (14 pts & 10 ast) against Washington St. tonight and Samari Curtis had 19 against Belmont. Both were in losing causes, but both led their team in scoring off of the bench.
  5. Also, both Kent and Jake need to ask Lat how he pronounces his last name. Come on guys.
  6. Someone needs to tell KP that it's Wood and not Woods.
  7. There is the hair on Andre's head that makes him look even taller , but I agree. Yvan is 6'8" at best and so is Lat and Banton.
  8. Let's not put any expectations on the kid, but let's not sell him short either. The kid can shoot.
  9. Ed Chang apparently landed at Missouri, but doesn't appear to have played yet this season.
  10. Regarding Lat, could it be he's trending down due to teams recognizing he is our most consistent threat from 3 and they are taking him out of the equation? Lat isn't getting the space he needs to get his shot off in the last couple of games, so Fred needs to find more ways to get him open looks. As to his rebounding, he's tied for second at 5.8/game which isn't too bad considering he's usually going against bigger players in the post. Bottom line is there are a lot of guys that need to do things better for this team to have a chance to win going forward. I'm not about moral victories, but the first half last night showed that we have enough talent to be competitive in conference with several teams.
  11. That's due to the type of players we have at present (more scorers than shooters). We should look better next season when we have several shooters on the floor at the same time.
  12. Banton needs to tighten up that dribble. No excuse for that unforced turnover.
  13. I should have clarified, I was referring to Curtis.
  14. Is he eligible yet? Transferred at the semester.
  15. Two. I think the first game he would be available would be @ Maryland on Jan. 16.
  16. That may be true, but it doesn't mean he isn't capable.
  17. Yes, I recall a video of Jordy making a 3. Unlike Jordy, I think Walker would have the ability to knock down a 3 in a game. There is another video (which I can't find) that shows Walker making a 3 during practice and he looks pretty fluid from behind the arc.
  18. Here are some highlights from some AAU games. I would imagine most of his game will be in the post, but I recall seeing video of him during shooting drills last season and he had a nice looking shot from beyond the arc.
  19. This is the same guy who was committed to us under Miles and ultimately decided to part ways after Fred was hired. D'Andre goes by Dre apparently. Noticed he has put on some weight as espn has him listed at 220 and his position as center (??). He was listed at 170 when he committed to us.
  20. I can recall two makes, can't recall if he had other attempts prior to this game.
  21. During Fred's presser today he mentioned that Walker had 11 more games he had to sit (paraphrasing). Sounds like they may have been successful with their appeal.
