Was looking up this thread (or to find another like it)... And after seeing some Alonzo Verge practice highlights - I can't imagine he's not starting at point? I mean nothing negative by this, but I was not excited about Trey playing point - just do not think it is his natural position. In other words, I think your breakdown, @millerhusker, is pretty spot on as far as a depth chart goes. The only thing I could potentially see being different is if Keisei can't be displaced because he's knocking down shots, and someone like Wilcher loses time. But who knows?

Yeah Norm I'm pretty comfortable with this team. Only thing holding us back from being respectfully in the mix is the name on the front of the jersey and whatever baggage comes with that.

If Thor could shoot (like we hope) Keisei can shoot, he might have been a 1st Team guy with all the little things he did on the court. Think if Thor shot 42% on 5-8 attempts a game. I mean he could been our MVP. Lefty Duncan Robinson. I'd argue that was his biggest flaw in his game. He literally did everything else well and was an incredible teammate. But he shot 32% on only 2 and a half attempts a game for his career.

I honestly think that's underselling the ceiling of this team. We return quite a bit. I don't think the B1G will be as good (am I wrong there?). And our additions are pretty unbelievable for NU standards. Our subtractions might even be more of a benefit?
