I also was one of the core group going back to Angela Beck days. Kids were involved in Lil Breakers, etc. Painful was the first year of Coach Yori as was last year. I am optimistic about the future, and will continue to support WBB!

Kastanek girls were never going to play for Coach Yori. They wanted to get out of town.

It appears that no transfers are expected after meetings this week. Good news. Jessica had minor knee surgery that will keep her out 4-6 weeks.

They are both very good. Not sure why I didn't mention them. Will be interesting to see how they continue to develop.

I've watched quite a few teams this weekend. I haven't seen any BIG caliber girls anywhere.

I don't believe JC women's BB is usually much of an option. We've had a few over the years but really don't remember them ever making much of an impact. It's not like men's juco. Although they could sell playing time pretty easily.

My point was I would assume there will be some. As you said, some would have a better situation at lower levels.

If we can keep Nicea, Hannah and Jessica together, that's a good nucleus to build around. Grace and Maddie got better as the season went along.

Anybody expecting players to transfer after this year? I wouldn't be surprised.

Their top scorer was a senior with I believe 24. Couple really good freshmen.

If you have 3 people collapsing you need to try and run some things for other players to loosen things up.

Coach Williams didn't even come out for her radio post game today. What does that tell you? Michigan is a fine team but my goodness there was a lot of dribbling and standing around today. I can't figure out if they don't know how to run the offense or defense or if its lack of effort in some spots? Michigan was so much quicker than us it was scary.
