  1. Wonder how much it cost to land him?
  2. And Norm, that very well could have been you.
  3. Whoops, actually the guy was trying to score on a double from first. My version sounded a little better...
  4. OK, I'm not gonna lie, that game aged me 10 years. And we throw a guy out trying to score from second on a relay throw? By a guy playing first base for the first half inning of his career? Just crazy.
  5. Just a brutal game after the first.
  6. Well, 6-3 now. Gonna need some more runs.
  7. Now 6-0 after top half of the inning. Will likely need more runs on Johhny Wholestaff day!
  8. Nice start! 5-0 Huskers top of first. 7 hits in the inning, batted around the lineup. Will be very interesting to see how Kyle does!
  9. Can't imagine why she has back problems.
  10. Maybe its the camera angles, but this guy doesn't look 6'4".......
  11. Or a slow learner!
  12. I took in all 3 of those games. Brutal.
  13. Very doubtful that we will make the postseason.
  14. Walk-on. Gary's younger son Mike was the better player, and went to Marquette on scholarship. Was a decent player there.
  15. Wow. She looks all of 70 these days....
  16. Xavier Johnson comes in at #9, and Christian Bishop at #20. Whoever came up with the rankings loves what Maryland did.
  17. God of Thunder. Always. Forever.
  18. Correct. Paul Sanderford recruited Nate's girlfriend/soon to be wife, Keesha Cannon. So Nate decommitted from Oklahoma State and came here.
  19. Did you ever go to practice?
  20. Nobody got rode like Toney McCray. That guy should get a trophy, and an annuity from prominent boosters, for not transferring. Doc was just merciless on that guy at practice.
  21. Yes, he was at UTEP before. He won’t be there again.
  22. He was right. I was all over that guy. And I know he heard me.
  23. More horrible Big 10 umpiring. Lamest ejection I have ever seen. No threatening body language, didn’t even yell. Base umpire was belligerent from the get go. Great job of fighting back by our guys.
  24. I was close to the action and had a good view of the plate. The ump started out consistent--was giving the pitcher the low outside pitch to right handers, and the high inside pitch to lefties. For some reason, he lost his zone in the middle of the game. What was a strike all day became a ball. Hard for the players to know his zone. All I ask for is consistency.
  25. That's not fair. I know him, have spent plenty of time with him, and his public persona is quite genuine. Doesn't mean a guy like that can't coach his guys hard, which he could. But he's no phony.
