To all the experts out there in internet land. How has Miles, the BIG coach of the year as well as the national coach of the year when the huskers went to the tourney, become such a bad coach a couple of years later. If it is because of transfers than every coach in the U.S. has gotten worse, because I don't think anyone hasn't had at least a couple transfers in the last year. If it is because of bad losses you would have to think Tom Izzo would be in trouble with his record against NU, or some of his bad losses last year, as well as many other coaches who have had bad losses, such as Iowa to UNO or Minnesota and Kansas to NDSU or Northern Iowa. Now, am I happy with the last couple years, no, but I have lived through much worse in the past, when someone transferred from NU and nobody was interested in them because of the talent level at DONU. Miles has upgraded our recruiting and anyone who can't see that shouldn't comment on anything basketball related. I'm just tired of replacing a coach every 5-6 years and doing it again down the road. We have people who want to hire a coach that will probably fired from his present job, boy that's a recipe for success. Why don't we just go back to Doc, I mean he is a nice guy and easy to get along with.

Hopefully that's some good news from Barfknecht. Cip been meaning to get down to Conlee's and see you some time, you're not that far away from me. Before everyone gets too happy, remember Jordy said if Miles were gone so was he. If that's the case we will be without a center for 2017-18. I really hope Crean isn't the next in line. Why would players come to Nebraska with a coach that couldn't get them to Indiana. At least at his previous stops they actually had some success in the past unlike our program. Let's just go on our usual 5-6 yrs jaunt between coaches. Love them the first 2 years, worry the next two years, and then complain and fire them in the fifth or sixth year. rinse and repeat.

That would be if, and that's a big if we don't lose some players to transfers. I think Nana would be gone as well as 2 or 3 of our current roster, if there is a change. All you have to do is look at last years women's team vs. this years women's team. Last year the women lost their best outside shooter as well as 2 incoming recruits with the change in coaches. So would we be back to looking at what we will have in 3-4 more years. I don't know the answer to this, but I think we need to consider it.

The last time I felt this way about the Huskers was in the season where we went 10-18 under Danny Nee. I hope things improve the next few years like then. We were all trying to figure out if we could ever win in basketball. That next few years with the guys that sat out and along with the guys that got their butts kicked the year before was so much fun. We were showing up at the Bob trying to figure out how much we were going to win buy, not if we were going to win. Hope this turns out the same way!!!
