I think that it is interesting that almost every press columnist in the state has made the statement that the University has to commit to having a good basketball team. I don't know everything they are talking about, but evidently our administration is not as committed to Basketball as the fans are. This was true for many years and I had thought that the administration had decided to change, but evidently that has been lip service to keep the donations rolling in.

Yes, NU you are right the transfer market does change it somewhat, but remember Mile's has been continually ripped for having transfers.

If you take a look at those 2 coaches first classes, it will give you an idea what we are in for. There aren't a lot of top level guys available for a coach that will have 2 weeks to a month to recruit.

We will more than likely lose all three recruits as well as Roby and Allen. I think Akenten is gone either way just from his body language the last couple games. So we will have Heiman, Davis, Burke and Thor left, as well as the walkon's. Harris I don't have a opinion on as of now. So we could have 5 players + walkon's. If that is the case, since most of the better players signed in November, we will have some leftovers to pick from which will mean that 2021-2022 will be the next time we could have a team that could get into the upper 2/3 of the BIG.

I was getting worried when we weren't subbing in the second half, I was afraid that we were going to get worn down. I think that is what happened, Miles is going to have to have some faith in the bench or we are going to run into this same problem several more times.
