I don't want to start anything here, but it had something to do with the term "freshman" and how NW has chosen an alternate term for that class. Nuff said.

It may have also demoralized them pretty badly. This is a team that has been mentally volatile all year. SOmetimes amazingly tough, other times they make Charmin look like sandpaper.

It was a really unusual interpretation of that song and one of the reasons VM and BD became lifelong friends. Edit: Btw, there's a "fake" version that was redone by a "fake" version of Them reconstituted without Van. Appears the boys found an "almost sound alike" in a competition a la Arnel for Journey.

We're a program that has yet to win a *single* game in the tourney. I may be aiming my sights low--comes with th eterritory--but that's the monkey I want off our backs. I don't even bother past the first round. Anything after that is gravy.

I actually like a matchup with the Rams. I'd take this bracket happily.

This is awesome. Before Panozzo started wearing tux's to shows by a couple of years. Their music may have been a bit overwrought, but those harmonies were downright nasty.

KT in the running for 2d or 3rd team all conf. reink for 3rd team or honor mention. still possible for reink to play his way onto 2d team as well given the competition and how well he's playing of late. it would be fabulous just to have two players represented on the 3 all conf. teams

the illinois players will know they got some home cooking tonight. let's get a rematch in the tourney.... regardless, the B1G really needs to do something about their officiating pool. Not sure what the deal is, but for a power 5 conference, it often looks like we have the worst refs in div 1.

I think it was the first half ref show that did us in. We should've had a significantly bigger lead on them going into the half. turned out to be the difference in the game. I even posted it at the time.
