  1. 24 point NET bump from 190 to 166. For those interested, they’d need to stay Top 200 for Q3 status. They probably have no chance at Q2 status which is Top 100 for Neutral.
  2. JLaw isn’t as far away from being in the Top 10 either IMO. If my man is able to create on O and make shots like he was last year… combined with his D this year, he’s a near lock for Top 10 if not starting PG.
  3. He was also somewhat explosive. Still remember some of his driving dunks including early on in the No Sit Sunday game.
  4. I'd worry about teams packing it in and daring this group to shoot. While you have to respect Gary, Palmer, and Roby... I also wouldn't mind making those two beat me from outside. Especially with the driving ability and post up ability of this group.
  5. Honestly... I didn't see a lot of fire Frans on that board.
  6. And it’s sooo easy too to be like “stop Tominaga” but in doing so, you leave guys wide open and this year we’re knocking down shots. The one thing we don’t have is someone to drive AND finish. I feel like that’s where we struggled the most.
  7. This is a tough tough one. Watson/Webster Petteway/Keisei Palmer/Shields Copeland/Gary Roby/Mast
  8. Outside shot of getting into the Dance. They’re stacking some road wins. I expect a lower scoring game.
  9. Same. My guess is that we’ll get a seed that doesn’t play in Omaha. For example, if we’re only the 11/12 cut and the 11 plays in Omaha… we’ll get a 12 seed. Just speculation.
  10. Reading other message boards throughout the last month, the following fans want their coach gone… 1. Indiana 2. Ohio St 3. Purdue (only a few fans but it’s because he can’t “win the big ones” “same ole same ole”) 4. Minnesota, though his seat may have cooled a bit with their recent run. Gotta finish strong though. 5. Michigan
  11. Edited to add our 2 Q2 losses. Ya got me! Was trying to sneak that by the committee dang it haha!
  12. KSU took an L up in Ames last night. Played pretty well most of the game until Tang got a T with a few minutes left and things derailed. ISU fans were definitely on Tang…
  13. Northwestern’s win bumped them back up to a Q-2 giving us 5 Q1 + Q2 victories. 3-3, 2-2, 3-0, 7-0 are the quad records.
  14. Big one tonight in the Mo Val… Drake loses to an awful Missouri State. Some were talking them being a 2 bid league but even more than that, they were a few notches above us in the NET and Pom
  15. Sounds like a good job for Lawrence/Hoiberg.
  16. Go watch that pass on the TV and watch Fred. The pass actually went to Fred and he grabbed the ball and slammed it (dribbled hard) into the floor out of frustration. It was a total Dad move that I and many others would do and know our dads would do as well. I laughed when I watched that back today.
  17. I think they end up with 4 for sure and probably 5. 6 will be a stretch as they’ll end up beating themselves up. However, if Air Force can put together a few games like last night, that’ll help… and UNLV is always a tough out. Go SJSU though!
  18. There were a few times early that he got caught on bad switches and they took advantage. Unfortunately that’ll happen with the type of defense we run.
  19. Don’t know if it was the same board, but saw one poster say “why can’t we have a crowd like that”
  20. Mast getting love from NBA Draft people. I believe that 3.1 assist number leads most, if not all, Bigs.
  21. CJ is the poster child for working for what you want and making the most of your role. Too many times guys take the easy route and transfer if they lose a starting spot or their PT diminishes. Not CJ and I gotta say… it’s a breath of fresh air. B1G 6th man is definitely there for the taking.
  22. Rewatching the game. We only had 26 points with 4 1/2 minutes to go in the 1st half. Finished the half with 43. 26 points in the first 15:30 17 points in the final 4:30
  23. I think this team will steal one or two on the road. One of them might even be unexpected… similar to that MSU game in Petteway’s year where we danced. What'll be most important for us is not losing those road games by 10+ as have been the case lately. Those are metric KILLERS. We keep jumping around so much in the NET and other metrics because we win big then lose big. Our team sheet looks… actually… really good. Overall SOS is 71 now, Strength of record and KPI both now sit at 31!
