Some of our decisions… It appears we have a ton of guys trying to showcase their skills tonight that are out of eligibility.

Yes— ankle. Sucks because he probably gets minutes tonight too.

Allegedly because we looked like a team that wants to do anything but so far? Ha!

Investing this much energy into the College Basketball Crown isn’t worth it man. I have actually “enjoyed” getting to watch tonight already being ok with whatever the outcome of this game/tournament is. Much less pacing, much less yelling, better heart health.

Wan hasn’t looked very good tonight either. But agree that if those guys wanted to play, they should get that opportunity.

Sam’s best suited for an energy off the bench guy. But his play has earned him all of the minutes he gets. Sadly, that also says a lot about everyone else as much as it does Sam too.

Gotta make shots to have an assist to. We’d have all world assist numbers if you got a half an assist for a missed shot.

What in the world is Ulis doing taking threes in back to back possessions? Or at least it seemed like it was back to back.

Or becomes the first 48th seed to lose or something like that. Could see that happen too.

An idea for the Crown that will never happen.... 1. Eliminate the first 4 in Dayton. I know, eliminating these games would take a little bit away from the NCAA, but hear me out. 2. Move the NCAA tournament back a week. The first round games would happen the SECOND Thursday after Selection Sunday. 3. The Crown becomes a play-in for the last four spots in the at-large field. The Crown would essentially be the first 16 teams OUT of the NCAA tournament. This would be played during the first week in which the NCAA tournament normally would be played. 4. In order to entice teams not to pack it in after making the Crown Final 4, monetary incentives could still be offered. So more money for winning it all. 5. Fox could still hold broadcast rights for the Crown and would probably draw more eyes. 6. Teams who don't go to the Crown get an extra week of prep/rest/recovery for the NCAA tournament. So the schedule would look something like Selection Sunday --> Tuesday/Wednesday First Rounds Crown --> Thursday/Friday Crown Quarters--> Sunday #2 --> Crown Semis --> Monday #2 Crown Championship --> Thursday/Friday #2 NCAA tournament begins

What teams want to be here? What teams were forced by their conference to be here? I agree that, from everything we've heard, Nebraska as a team WANTS to be playing in this. That will do wonders in a post season tournament where some teams might just be there to fill the field and their conference obligations.

75 now lol— I think a 70+ RPI bump this weekend.

There’s a scene in the movie Greater about Arkansas walk-on Brandon Burlsworth where one of the players says “I’ve played against walk ons and that’s no walk on!” I can only imagine Oregon State is saying relatively the same thing this weekend. “We’ve played sub 100 RPI teams and that’s no sub 100 RPI team!” We all knew it, hopefully the players finally know it too.

I believe the saying goes “believe half of what people tell you and everything you see on the internet.” So that’s a good sign! If true though, would be a nice pick up if so.

Not saying he will stay, he should stay, or that he will contribute next year. What I will say is that we have a history (basically every single year) of writing off a guy who we think will never do anything here. Time will tell if that could be Gavin. It very much may not be. But history says we’ll have one.
