1. It’s hard to see progress with results like this. I see some... some... but I will be honest that I expected a little more out of this year so far. Laying flat, getting run off in the second half, not even being in it against good teams is frustrating. We’re going to have to start playing better. Period. Or any “progress” this year won’t be much. 2. Mentioned in the game thread, but I continue to be disappointed in the offense that Hoiberg was supposed to bring. We look a lot closer to a Tim Miles/Doc Sadler time than something different. We get open shots, yes... but we did in their offenses as well. We don’t get a lot going to the hoop and we settle for some bad shots late in the shot clock. We also pass it around the perimeter a lot. 3. The Andre comment yesterday and subsequent playing time today didn’t make sense... at all. 4. Credit Wisconsin. They dictated who shot for us today. Unfortunately, that meant Lakes and Kobe didn’t get any shots off. 5. This is a disappointment in terms of final margin. Games won’t get much easier in terms of other teams playing bad. Fred said post game that “we’re close but we just gotta make shots” but unfortunately Wisconsin could have played a lot better too and still beat us by 15 or so. They were prime for the taking tonight. 6. Liked our defensive effort, but some of that was Wisconsin just missing shots. When they started to hit, we were done. 7. Biggest momentum shift in the game was the missed back to back bunnies by Banton and Yuv who were both widen open and uncontested. That would have put us up 1 and instead they make a shot to go up 3. Can’t help but to feel disappointed once again. Tough one to swallow considering how Wisconsin played.

Looks a lot like previous years Husker teams going back into other coaching eras. Get open looks, can’t knock em down. Get a lot of threes. Nothing really going to the hoop. Lots of passi mg around the perimeter.

Embarrassed at the final margin again. Judas. Mostly because of the way that Wisco played.

Credit Wisco for not letting Lakes and Kobe get open looks tonight.

Will be interested to see how the team fights in this one. I'm getting a lot of "here we go again" vibes and if that's the case, that isn't good.

Banton and Yuv both miss bunnies and they go up 3... turning point?

Outside of one game.. Shamiel has been a liability in most games. Unfortunately, his body language is concerning too.

We got the lead back! That is a HUGE positive.

This is one for the better matchups for Yuv int he conference and he's taken advantage.

Our highest shooting metric percentage wise so far is... 44%.... and that's FT's... OUCH.

Unfortunately-- all games aren't going to be much easier than this with the way that Wisco has shot. We had a really good chance to be up 10-15 and feeling good. We're down 4. That just stinks.

Man-- Wisco... outside of the 10ish minutes... has been off. Would really like about a 10 point lead right now.

Lat 0-4 from deep. That has to change.

Yuv hasn't been great, but hasn't been bad either. Certainly one of his better outings so far.

Honestly-- pretty telling that Lakes was 2nd off the bench tonight.

I'm ok with a Shamiel three that is in rhythm. But my goodness he hesitates like he's unsure if he is supposed to shoot or not.

I'll say it again. For as "run and gun, good offense jump" that we were supposed to see from the Miles era to the Hoiberg era, I have been sadly disappointed with us on that end this year. I figured with more athletes, we'd have a better flow. A lot of the same standing around and shooting threes that we also saw in the Miles era.
