Time for Hoiberg to make a statement. Play the walkons and freshman... maybe Lakes for the rest of the game. I've said each conference game that I've been embarrassed... but this one takes the cake.

We're more athletic than Nebraska 2019-2020. I don't know that we're more athletic than any other Big 10 team... Especially not this one.

Maybe I should have put... no scoring droughts in EVERY GAME Ha.

This team is 1-2... 1-2!!!! in the conference. We're so far in the cellar right now that we can't even see light.

If not better... it's certainly not worse.

Things I expected more out of Hoiberg and his team in year 2... and if we have it 1. More athletes (YES) 2. Better shooting (NO) 3. More competitive (NO) 4. Better offensive flow (NO) 5. No Scoring Droughts (NO)

If there was ever a year that people didn't have to pay to watch this.... I guess it's this one.

Hoiball has not impressed... at all.

What a wasted opportunity. We made the 3 and missed the front end of a 1 and 1 and then missed an open 3.

I know the refs aren't losing us this game... but they are not helping much either. CALL THE F ING FOUL

21% FG and 15% 3 point FG... so we got better at the shot worth 1 point and worse at the ones worth 2 and 3 points.

More athletic? yes... faster and quicker? yes... better? NO. Last years team played smarter, had more heart, fought. If this continues the way its going tonight... color me sadly disappointed with Hoiberg year 2 so far.

So let me get this straight.... McGowens gets bumped on a layup attempt and no foul... then their guard goes flying into the lane out of control and runs into one of our guys... foul on us?

While I love the addition of Bryce-- I would like to see us land a really solid prospect where we didn't have "an in." Wilhelm is a nice piece, but we've picked up nice pieces before. Bryce is the first "wow" recruit, but I don't know that we get him had his brother not been here. So, jury is still out for me whether we can add 2-3 players of his caliber each year.

Roby with 19 and 7 tonight. Filled the sheet with a steal, assist, and a couple of blocks too.

Also had a probable SC Top 10 dunk!

Roby got the start! Even better... he’s doing things tonight against the Magic. Has 9 at the end of the 1st quarter.
