One I've been a little disappointed with is Maine. Beating a good mid-major or two is one way to boost our numbers. Our cupcake wins are stinking it up. I thought Maine had a nice chance of having a good season. Played us tough and then beat Boston College. However, they've really struggled in conference which really stinks.

Thankfully they'd have to drop all the way to 135 for it to become a Q3 loss. At #97 and not having lost any "bad games" really-- they should be ok.

Makes the Minny game on Saturday one of the more meaningful games of the year. Win that one and there are virtually no more Q3/Q4 games left unless you meet Minny in the B1G Tournament. You also need to throw a little style points in there Saturday if you can. Win small and we stay level/drop. Win big and we probably stay level but could move up 1-2 spots.

It’s gotten uglier

I think I remember reading on here that he had quite an offer at the end of last year to play pro over there. That, one can only assume, is going to go way up after this year. Combine that with the fact that he gets nothing over here.... it's probably between speculative and knowing for a fact.

Preferably any pitchers that can throw the ball over the plate.

No I don’t think he’ll be drafted. No I’m not for sure he’d ever be an NBA staple. BUT. Should Keisei come back next year and put up the same type of numbers he is lately for an entire year… it wouldn’t shock me to see some NBA team take a flyer on him. There was a Tominaga jersey at a fricking PGA Golf tournament. Show me an NBA team that needs to make some quick cash and I’ll show you a guy who’s worth probably 3000X his weight in apparel and ticket sales alone.

Absolutely unacceptable opening weekend. I get losing a couple. But 0-3-1 is unacceptable.

I’ve been thinking this as well. Keisei helping a darling of a story win their first NCAA game could draw a lot of eye balls this year. We’ve just got to give them a reason. All starts Saturday. Win Saturday and your virtually guarantee yourself not to have any bad losses. Then it’s all about collecting the wins.

Almost a national/international sensation. We’ve got people driving hours to watch him play… non Huskers. We’ve got reporters from Japan coming to the games. We’ve got other message boards talking about how fun he is to watch and wanting him on their team. Its so awesome!

Went to some other teams forums to see what they’re saying about us. A couple of things I noticed. 1. The Keisei love is real. And I mean real real. One Michigan fan even said they wouldn’t mind him hitting the portal and transferring there. 2. While there are still a lot of jokes, the realization that “Nebraska, should they win out, actually has a decent resume” is hitting some of the boards. 3. No one and I mean no one wants to play us right now. Said one Rutgers fan “I absolutely would not want to be a 7 seed needing a win to get in the dance and seeing them in the 7-10 game.”

OSU remains at 64. That one is so weird.
