I saw this this morning and about barfed. What a joke. I’m done trying to figure it out. I’ll say this though… If a true road win over #33 only bumps us up 2 spots… I don’t think winning 4 is going to do it. We’re probably going to have to win the whole damn thing. Hell, we’ll probably drop if we win on Wednesday.

Michigan/Rutgers is probably a play in game... also think if PSU loses to Illinois, they are out too.

I don't think you could have asked for a better half of the bracket. Avoid PU, Michigan, MSU, and Iowa until the final day. Our side of the bracket has, basically, teams who have been struggling bad recently.

Huskers 76 Minny 65 2 wins... but we come dang close to a 3rd.

Throw away that first inning blunder and we lose 6-5 today. I'd have taken that. Wind definitely got taken out of our sails after that first inning, but overall a successful weekend. We can win the B1G or at least be a factor in the B1G. A regional is a must this year. Overall, not perfect, but a darn good weekend for the ol RPI.

I got the same. Most likely outcome I think is... Minny, Maryland, Indiana, NW, Purdue. Not exactly murder's row, but not easy of course. Especially with a limited bench and tired legs.

Just ran some SIM's on T-Rank. As of now, it looks like the most likely path (first two games) are Minny and then Maryland. Those two wins don't move the needle a ton. Playing Minny again is going to pull us down. To seriously be in the discussion, T-Rank basically says we need to make it to Sunday. That'd lower our NET to upper 70's, low 80's... and would give us 6 Q1 wins. Let's just win the whole f-ing thing though.

Had the pleasure of driving while this one was happening. But that meant spending my afternoon with Kent P and Jake. There were so many quotes that were great. Two that stick out were a “sit down Fran” I believe or some variation of that late in the game… possibly after Hoibergs charge. The other happened after the game when they were doing a chiropractor ad. Jake said something like “the Iowa fans are hurting” and Kent says “Does a chiropractor help hurt egos?” Lol

Also of note— it appears Jordy Bahl may only be getting about 1/3 of OU’s innings. Don’t know if there’s any chance she’d transfer back here, but would be nice.

Had a toughhhh schedule their 2nd weekend playing like 4 ranked teams and beating A&M who was receiving votes. Have since rattled off 8 in a row including a 10-3 route of #16 Arizona. Sitting at 13-6 heading into today but of those six losses, five are to Top 25 teams.

Sadly— I believe this is true. I think 2-3 comments under that post were from Husker fans.

Kudos to the B1G so far this year though as we have some B1G wins.

I expect this is what a lot of our B1G series games will look like (or should look like) if we play to our potential.
