  1. Long and draining game physically and emotionally for both the players and fans, which contributed to dead legs for players and lack of energy from crowd. I think these guys will get their legs rested up show up re-energized vs Michigan.
  2. Would like to Watson and/or Webster to get hot for a few possessions to close the half with some momentum
  3. Now that Nebraska is 3-0 in conference...if they can beat Northwestern on Sunday to move to 4-0 in Big Ten play (and potentially 1st place in the conference standings), then this conversation starts to become very very real.
  4. Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing win! 3-0 in the Big Ten! And I only had 7 heart attacks...
  5. I think a finish to the season like this would get Nebraska there. It would mean finishing the season on a 10-6 run, which would be 12-6 overall conference record. For reference I think I have heard it mentioned that an 11-7 conference record is usually good enough to finish in the top 4-5 of the Big Ten. I'm not saying this is my projection for how the season will turn out. I'm simply saying that this is a way that I think Nebraska could get there. This scenario would also set up for the final game vs Michigan at home to be No-Sit Sunday Part 2.
  6. Consecutive road wins at Indiana and at Maryland is the kind of 2 game stretch that can spark a serious run in conference play.
  7. Ho-ly crap. What an unbelievable comeback. I can't think of another game that Nebraska pulled something like that off to steal one at the end of a game. Especially on the road at a team that was 13-1 on the season.
  8. Wow. Team falling apart now. 2 4-point plays...
  9. Up by 4 at halftime on the road at Maryland. Looking pretty solid. I do struggle to see what McVeigh does that Roby and/or Horne can't do better. To me, McVeigh looks like just as much of a liability on defense as Roby and/or Horne. The difference is that Roby/Horne actually bring something on the offensive side. I really think Horne should get all of McVeigh's minutes in the second half. He cought fire vs Indiana and he looks like he could step into the role of consistent 3pt shooter, which is something that Nebraska has desperately needed for awhile now. It would be nice to see him knock a few more 3s down in the second half, so he is riding high on confidence heading into the rest of the Big Ten schedule. This is a HUGE half. Starting the Big Ten schedule out 2-0 with wins on the road at Indiana and at Maryland could seriously be enough to change the trajectory of this team for the rest of the season. It would have an enormous impact on their confidence.
