  1. Keep the 'Aussie' Pipeline Going! Daughter of former NBL forward Anthony Petrie. https://central.rookieme.com/basketball/absc-day-three-wrap-petrie-posts-triple-double/
  2. On the surface it would seem the intention of this is to reduce the number of fouls called (i.e calling it only if it occurs), if a referee doesn't have to make a call "in the heat of the moment." In effect I think it serves the opposite; to increase the number of foul calls (i.e. "if in doubt, call it out").
  3. Hey back to a one Point Game!!! OOPS Tominaga shot blocked by a Goal Tend, but refs didn't call it! Trey by Tominaga for his revenge. Huskers Lead 50-48!!! (Panic tweet to Refs: Illinois isn't lookig too good; Get Back on the Job!)
  4. Huskers left their minds in the locker room @ halftime. At TO so maybe they'll go go back to get what they left behind. Ref bias starting to kick-in, looking at the name on the front of the jersey instead of the action.
  5. Here are Your Halftime Stats:
  6. HOLY MOLY! We have a one point game @ Halftime! 37-38 !!!
  7. Refs starting to take over the game (guess Illinois isn't looking good enough! )
  8. Fourth TO; Huskers cut Illinois lead to 5; 25-30! (3:46 left in the 1st)
  9. Hanging! (by a thread) Third TO; Illinois by 2; 17-19.
  10. Good ball movement (by Ill)
  11. Huskers lead; 12-7 at the second TO!!! (11:57 left in the 1st)
  12. Huskers lead; 5-3 at the first TO!!!
  13. Final Stats: I'm getting so tired of seeing the Huskers continually Hosed by Crooked Officials. FT discrepancy tells the story. 26 for Maryland vs 15 for the Huskers. (13 FTA's for Maryland vs ONE FTA for the Huskers at the Half - They know they're crooked; trying to cook the books in the 2nd half to make it look less obvious). Same for the Ladies. Iowa with 22 FTAs in today's game vs. 11 for the Huskers.
  14. Halftime Stats: Maryland leads by ten points: 30-40.
  15. (Recap) https://huskers.com/news/2023/1/28/womens-basketball-huskers-at-iowa.aspx
  16. Final Stats: After a hot start to Q1, leading by as much as 10 points, and on a roll, Huskers were cooled down by a 7 minute stoppage to correct a malfunctioning clock issue; giving Iowa time to Regroup . Down by Eleven at the Half, Huskers were down by as much as 17 points before clawing back to finish strong, losing by only Four Points. GRIT, NO QUIT HUSKER LADIES!!!
  17. Maybe a more appropriate title for the Poll would be: "Do you want to Go Through another wholesale change?" Changing Head Coaches would likely mean a complete turnover of the coaching and player rosters., i.e. starting over from square one. I thought we already did that this season, with new asst coaches Adam Howard & Ernie Zeigler; player development director Emmanuel Tommy (and coaching staff Nate Loenser & Kurt Joseph new last year). Still, early on, virtually nobody gave us Any Chance of winning more than a couple of conference games, until unheard of new players Juwan Gary and Emmanuel Bandoumel started playing and demonstrating their smothering defensive skills. All of a sudden we won some games where nobody gave us a chance; Some even opined we were an 'exciting' team to watch. All this without Keyontae Johnson, currently tearing it up offensively at Kansas State, who was on the verge of transferring to Nebraska until UNL Administration nixed it. After Gary and Bandoumel, through no fault of their own are injured and out for the remainder of the season, we are back to being "the Bums" again, with zero chance of redemption? So we are going to throw everyone out and start over from square one again?
  18. Annnnd Your Final Stats: Huskers cut the deficit to 15 points from being as much as 23 points down in the fourth Q.
  19. Your Halftime Stats: Huskers down by 13 ; It's Raining 3's, especially for Northwestern )
  20. 9-0 Run by the Huskers; It's Raining Treys!!!
  21. Exciting game so far (close ) (thanks, Keisei & Sam (Hoiberg (edit) & Griesel)
