Thanks for posting these. Would give you more upvotes if I could. Easy to watch them after a win. Easy to forget to watch them after a tough loss. We all need to take the time to watch the seniors speak IMO. If we get this turned around, these two are going to be a big part of the reason why.

I saw more of ending up against the shot clock than hero ball in the second half. Hoiberg got a couple very clean threes when they started the run and couldn’t make them. Sam was caught up against the shot clock way too much. Wilcher has to play better for us to be effective. Multiple illegal screens also did not help. When we don’t ever get a stop we also have to always face them with defense set up. And the other way around.

Sometimes you have to give the other team credit. They played one of the best halves of basketball I have ever seen. We weren’t at our best but they had a lot to do with it. Feel bad for the team.

Really like what I saw here. Sort of Baylor Scheirman type traits(trade some length for athletic ability). Elite vision is an unteachable skill to an extent and is huge to have in the Big 10 where scouting reports and rotations are so good. Having a guy that can make passes most cannot can compromise the defense.

That is no excuse. If I was in charge if it I would be prepared enough to put it together correctly in ten or 15 minutes. The only mystery is who gets taken from you by the NCAA. With people like Collier on it, it is easier to envision why it is a disaster.

What they kind of advertised what they wanted kind of changed in 2020 or whenever they changed the way it works. They just never really readvertised. it really makes no difference whatsoever who you are playing right now. All that matters is if you are more or less efficient in your performance than what you were scheduled to be going into the game. I really think that the committee doesn’t give much of a crap about what the NET ranking is. It is just a way to sort out your schedule somehow in a way they feel is better than the RPI. NIT on other hand seeems to gravitate to the NET as they don’t put in the time to sort anything out,

Central Florida 6-9 in the AAC and 72 in the NET shows there is probably is some sort of glitch in the matrix. Beating a horrific Tulsa team by 40 a couple times is doing them wonders it would appear. Not sure what kind of example that sets exactly, similar to what Jerry Stackhouse suggested.

It is very hard for a mediocre big ten team to move at this point in the season versus a team like Toledo. We have played 29 games now. The net is going to largely mimic the pomeroy. To move one raw EM point we are going to have to win by about 29 points more in a game than was the expectation of the metric. 1.84 Em points moves us from 92 to 82. The coaching in our league is just too good to simply beat someone by 20 more than you should. A decent Toledo, on the other hand, can much more easily do that to disinterested poorly coached teams late on the year. They did yesterday and blew by us like we were in quicksand,
