I can't believe we didn't lose a game in October. First time in 22 years. Who would have predicted that? My next prediction is we don't lose a game in November.

Not sure to which players on the team this applies. Might be several. Back in 1982, some on this board have parents who weren't yet born, my brother and I drove 100 miles+ to watch the Metro Conference All-Star Basketball game to see how good our commitments looked versus the traitors who left. NU commits were Dave Hoppen and James Moore. Those who went elsewhere were Ron Kellogg, (I blame you, jimmy), Kerry Trotter and Vic Lazzaretti. Two others who played were Calvin Sprew and Bart Kofoed. While watching the game, focusing on the Husker recruits, and Kellogg, Trotter and Lazzaretti, the one player that impressed us the most was Bart Kofoed. We left saying, that Kofoed kid was the best player on the court tonight. You just never know.

Not in this day and age.

We have two really big games tomorrow with Northwestern and Wisconsin coming into Lincoln. I don't think we've done songs with numbers in the title.

Mrs cip and I saw B.J. Thomas in Grand Island. It was the first concert in the new arena. No booze was sold then. Yep, that didn't stop me. :) Anyway. He was really good! He didn't talk much between songs, no stories, he just sang. This is Nebraska Basketball 2023-24.
