Tyronn Lue is finally a member of the Nebraska Basketball Hall of Fame. Congratulations, it was long overdue. He and other past Husker greats will be in attendance tonight and will be honored at halftime. Let's hope the atmosphere tonight will be condusive for a huge upset. The general vibes coming out of Huskerland are pointing this direction, so who knows.... The Huskers only have 3 games left at the BDSC. Hopefully, the Huskers play their best basketball of the season these 3 games. If they do, we'll get a victory or two. Let's start with tonight. GBR!

Seeing the Huskers lost the first two games they played in the Sports Center, and they were against Iowa and Minnesota, there is a reckoning, so to speak, coming in the next few weeks.....

Here's the schedule from the 76-77 season. In March 1977,Nebraska Regent Bob Prokop called for Joe Cipriano to be replaced. He called for Cipriano's boss, Bob Devaney to be replaced as well. (This little nugget from Mike Babcock's book, "Huskers on the Hardwood")

If I could weigh in on the officiating. Whether they sucked or not, I don't know. There's always questionable calls in any game. I've seen Nebraska on the short end of calls for 40 years. Home and away. It's probably just the way a fan perceives it... As far as the calls deliberately going Indiana's way? Let's say that's true. The fix was in. If I'm Tom Crean, I'm not high fiving refs, I'm mad as hell because my Number 1 team in the nation needed help to look good against lowly Nebraska, and there's no way I'm happy to be a part of that scam. Sorry. I don't see a shooter in the grassy knoll on this one. Oh well. Let's kick some Sparty rear end Saturday!
