Stivrins graduated from Lincoln East in 1980, and his final season at CU (the one out west) was 1984-85, so his NBA career pre-dates Strickland's. Furthermore, I still can't believe that a classmate of mine chose to attend Creighton, and then transfer to Colorado. He's a doctor now, so he's not stupid. It just may appear that way. In today's college basketball where a BCS team can stock their non-con with a bunch of gimmees it seems impossible that someone could finish a year sub .500. What the hell is going on with this team? We don't make many baskets.

Nebraska has yet to miss a free throw, while OSU has missed four. So there's that going for us.
