Mascot: Buckeyes
Shirt color not to wear: Grey
Opposing player to watch: Jared Sullinger
You know how we started this season with a ton of size in the form of Diaz, Ubel, Almeida and Neimann? Even if they were all healthy Sullinger would more than likely destroy them on both ends of the court. If you've ever wanted a Nebraska Basketball poster you'll probably get a chance here.
- Opposing player to watch: William Buford
The Senior guard is hitting .400 from the 3pt line while putting up over 16 a game and throwing in a mix of rebounds and assists. He's one of three Buckeyes averaging double digits and I'm hard pressed to find anything funny about any of this.
Does every single team in the BiG have a Preseason All-American?!?!?
Diaz and Talley are still AWOL, it's a road game and Ohio State is coming off a loss. If you thought the Huskers were outrebounded against Michigan State, it will really be tough dealing against a Buckeye squad which is the best in the country against allowing offensive rebounds. Ohio State also excels in the turnover game...rarely turning it over while constantly forcing the other team to give up the ball. Basically Ohio State ends up with more possessions than you and is a high scoring squad.
Once again this isn't a great 3pt shooting team so Nebraska's plan of daring them to shoot might help a bit. However, Ohio State is so athletic that they're going to be able to score regardless of what the Huskers throw at them. The point spread on this game is over 20 though maybe the magic time for the Huskers is the 5:30 pm tip offs?
Prediction: Buckeyes 74 - Huskers 52
