So, I'm watching the NIU vs. Ball State game tonight and I see that Northern Illinois has a guy on their team, 6' 10" 250# center by the name of Marin Maric.

 

Of course that last name should be familiar to Husker fans, and so I just had to check to see if it was possible he was in any way related to our Aleks.  It doesn't appear so, his bio on the NIU website says he has different parents and he does not appear to have ever lived in Australia.  So I ruled him out as Aleks' brother.

 

But damn, if their profile pics don't look eerily similar.  Check it out:
