hhcmatt Posted February 6, 2016 Report Posted February 6, 2016 Nebraska Cornhuskers (12-11) vs Rutgers Scarlet Knights (6-17) Date: Saturday, Feb 6th, 2016Time: 1:00 p.m. CSTArena: Pinnacle Bank ArenaCapacity: 15,000 Broadcast Information Television: ESPNU Online: WatchESPN Announcers: Clay Matvick and Sean Harrington Play-by-play: Kent PavelkaExpert Analysis: Matt Davison Rutgers Info Head Coach: Eddie JordanLocation: New Brunswick, NJConference: B1G 10Nickname: Scarlet KnightsMascot:Scarlet KnightLast time out: Lost to IllinoisTypical Rotation Depth: 8 playersTempo: Middle of the roadOffensive Style: PrincetonDefensive Style: Soft in the middleOpening Line: Huskers by 17.5 Miles Post Practice presser Player to Watch Corey Sanders: Much like Glynn Watson, Sanders is a 4 star freshman who is Rutgers first highly touted PG in a while. Last game vs Illinois in 3OTs he put up 39 pts, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. At the moment, Sanders isn't a great 3pt shooter so keeping him out of the paint as much as possible is part of the scouting report. The Skinny Rutgers might possibly be one of the worst B1G teams of this century and Miles has been hammering on "winning at home" because no one is going to buy the 'these guys aren't that bad' line. Rutgers runs a Princeton style offense and shoots the lowest % of 3pt shots in the conference so packing the paint or even rolling out zone is how you defend them. They're one of the worst rebounding teams (among being the worst at most everything) so expect the Huskers to win larger than usual on the offensive boards tonight. We're probably not going to see a let down game from a Nebraska squad on a 3 game losing streak and who hasn't just dialed it in since Samford. Prediction: Nebraska 85 - Rutgers 65 Click here to view the article Quote

AuroranHusker Posted February 6, 2016 Report Posted February 6, 2016 Time to get after the State University of New Jersey... but, that didn't fit on the jersey, so the NJ school went with Rutgers. Quote
