I know Miles said he would try to stay away from the JC's, but I go to Cloud County in Concordia Kansas and watch just about every game they play, so I will try and keep everyone updated on what is happening in the KJCCC. There is a lot of good competition in this conference, and it produces many D-1 players every year. Some names that may pop up that will be known in the pre-season this year that are sophs are

Algie Key-- Barton County CC-- 6'3" SO who made a ton of noise last year as a Freshman. Was actually being looked at by Florida State I believe before he signed with Barton. Never got a scholie offer from Barton though as I recall. Was a First Team All Region Six Guard.

James Miliken-- Cowley CC-- 6'1" SO that I do not know much about. Plays on the opposite side of the conference and did not see him much last year. Was voted first team all Region Six though, and that comes from a stacked region (Biggs-Nebraska, Carter-Drake, Branch-Oregon)

Alex Davis-- Hutchinson CC-- 6'9" SO that I do not remember much about. If I remember right he was never really the go to, but was a pretty physical guy when they played us. Was not the best inside, but could put the ball in the hoop when needed. Was voted 2nd Team All Region Six.

I will try to give weekly updates on the KJCCC as we get into the season. Practice just started here at Cloud, and we lost a lot from last year as we had 4 kids sign scholies at D-1 schools. (Oregon, Drake, Wyoming, and Gardner Webb--dont know about this one) Will be an interesting year, and I look forward to some good basketball!

Have not started conference play yet, so do not know much about opponents. Cloud County got a soph transfer this year who would be a nice pick up for the Huskers. he is a guard/wing who is a pure scorer. He likes to create, and loves the dribble drive. He can shoot from outside or drive and finish.

Edward Dyson is the name, and basketball is his game. Check him out!
