UTEP vs Colorado State

Watching this game I can see where we are going to be in a couple of years, hopefully.

Play hard, hustle and shoot the ball well.

Now for UTEP- is this the same team that man handled us. :angry:

Could be the good defense from CSU, but they can't even hit an open jumper or an open 3. :angry:

Couldn't miss against us. :huh:

Loved the view from the top of the arena down on to the court to show some of the game. :wub:

CSU won with Greg Smith from Ralston scoring 18 points...

I watched some of the CSU-UNLV game last night, because like Silverbacked, I was hoping to get a glimpse of our future. I liked what I saw.

A couple of observations.

1). Greg Smith is a beast. Tell me why he isn't a Husker?

2). The team played smart, composed basketball. I'm starting to see glimpses of that in our team already.

3). The students didn't rush the court after they won, it's almost as if they expect to win games! Novel concept.

#3 is a bit tongue-in-cheek, CSU currently holds the nations 4th longest home winning streak at 24 games, in the Mountain West no less, a conference ranked third in the RPI behind B1G and Big East (ACC is #4 and Big 12 is #5)
