Over/Under Wins next season

And, I'll take the over on the prior year's win total. Until NU signs at least a big man with a seasoned ability to rebound, shoot & defend, I wouldn't bet a red cent on the OP win total at this point in time.

Seriously, at this early stage, I'm with Handy, Silver, Kidm, Jimmy, and Norm (if I read his cryptic response right) at 17/Over.

"Depends:" If we do well from the Transfer/JUCO ranks could go well over; if not, we may need them.

Looking at the Big Ten power rankings, looks like we may have 'em right where we want 'em.

Last year's prediction was the same!

But, but, but,  I'm mathematically challenged       (I'm dyslexic, remember  ).   

 

So, I can't tell how many wins you are expecting.   I.e. "Though the odds are that we go 0-4 in the single play road games, we'd probably go 1-3, or at best 2-2 against those teams at home."  That's zero, one, or two wins.  Averaging it out, I come up with about 10 wins - and that's just for the in-conference schedule (who knows who or how many games we'll play).

Auroran: I read that thread and there are still some missing pieces. So I just went with my best scenario and included postseason to get to 20. At this point in the year, why not. And Kool-aid actually tastes pretty good on cereal.

I believe, at this point, there are only 6 or 7 games left to be scheduled, all at home against lesser opponents (not that all are guaranteed victories by Big Red, mind you).  I'll have to try the Kool-Aid on my breakfast cereal some time, it certainly wouldn't be worse than the sugar-laden cereals that seem to be pervasive these days.
