Does it count if a fan does it? I about did when they called the charge on Emily. Total flop. Ref falls for it. Terrible call.

What a night. Illini were dialed in. How good would we be if we got White? I had no idea she had that range on her shot. Sets picks, can roll and shoot. 3 years of Shephard and her would have been awesome. Kissinger not getting much playing time.

Game was a struggle, but some good things: Havers gave us 11 really good minutes. Chandler looked really good on D. Emily and Hailee were warriors as usual. Tee had some good moments. Brandi's knee looks to still be bothering her. Her minutes were reduced greatly, and she didn't look as explosive. Rubbed her knee a lot on the bench. And, of course, Natalie is clutch at the end as a freshman.

Best part of this game was the crowd! Way too many bad pass turnovers. We started out in a funk and it didn't get much better as the game went on. We got to have Rachel playing with her A game every game.

 

Not driving the lane forcing a fifth foul when their three top scorers all had 4 fouls with 7 minutes to play but instead settling for jump shots was driving me nuts. There's got to be someone on that bench who can look at the scoreboard and see that.  We also need to start mixing up our defense by going to a zone on defense once and a while! Got to hit our freethrows! 

 

Really like what the two freshmen brought tonight. Natalie played some of the best defense of anyone out there. Also, when she hit that big three with just over a minute left couldn't have come at a better time and had her on cloud nine. Chandler with some good minutes also! Those two are going to be good for us!

 

Not sure but Brandi must be having some lingering problems with her knee she only had 15 minutes. We need her!

 

Michigan. Sunday going to be just as tough! Let's hope the crowds even bigger!
