Look, we all know this year may be very, very tough on NU. But last night for the first time in a long, long time I had so much fun watching these players. In that 2nd half, we were pouding the ball inside, pounding the glass, hitting jump shots, running when it allowed, playing good team defense.....and on top of that, the players look to be having so much more fun and playing so much more loose.

Again, I'm not going to sit here and say that things are all rosey and things are where we want them to be yet, but last night was so much fun to watch. I hope we can continue this momentum and play well vs USC. I also hope we get a GREAT crowd with Webster in the house!

I agree, it was fun to watch. I ripped Almeida after the Kent State game for lack of focus and hustle. But boy, he sure did have a good game this time around! I am really liking our offense more and more each game. It has a free flow to it, not so structured and has really good spacing. It makes it fun to watch. I also like the minutes some of our players are logging. I like seeing our best players on the floor for 30 some minutes a game which has not been the story in the past. I know we dont have alot of depth, but that is the way it should be. Best players on the floor!! Also, it was nice to see that we looked good to a national audience last night, GATA look good to the potential recruits that were watching !! GBR!!!
