PimpMario Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Holy crap, the only thing I did today was procrastinate work, read about Husker hoops, listen to podcasts about Husker hoops and watch pump up videos over and over again. Seriously I am SO freaking jacked. I have tried to be the "realist" all season and tried to keep my expectations in check because I figured that was the best way to avoid heartbreak. I am done trying to keep my expectations in check! I have had my heart broken before but I guess what I am trying to say is it is better to keep putting your heart out there because I AM ON TOP OF THE WORLD! CLICHE CLICHE The bigger they are the harder they fall. Am I the only one? I cannot wait for Wisconsin, but at the same time I never want this feeling to end! Quote
PimpMario Posted March 7, 2014 Author Report Posted March 7, 2014 Miles introductory press conference set to music gives you chills. Quote
Buglem Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Awesome post! Love the video. I'm in the same boat. I tried all year to stay "grounded" and "realistic" but Miles has made me fully buy into this team! I'm planning to be loud and proud all night on Sunday! The atmosphere is going to be AMAZING!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! To make it even better, it sounds like the weather is going to be nice. That should turn the hay market into one giant outdoor party all afternoon!!! Bring on Wisconsin, they're going down! Quote
colhusker Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 If an usher tells a student to sit down I want him to tell him coach Miles says I don't have to. Love it. greymonkey 1 Quote
jsthusker Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Wow that video just gave me chills. Thanks for posting Quote
PimpMario Posted March 7, 2014 Author Report Posted March 7, 2014 Yeah that was one of the only Husker Hoops pump up videos I could find. Hopefully some day people will make videos about the exploits of this years team. Quote
HuskerCager Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 I have to say at 53, I don't get worked up about things like this anymore. But I just can't stop thinking about this game. I can't wait! Quote
PimpMario Posted March 8, 2014 Author Report Posted March 8, 2014 I have to say at 53, I don't get worked up about things like this anymore. But I just can't stop thinking about this game. I can't wait! At 29 I thought I was the same way. I have been relatively jaded about the football team and haven't gotten really pumped for a game in a long time. I guess you are never to old to fall in love again. Quote
Nebrasketballer Posted March 8, 2014 Report Posted March 8, 2014 At least you will set your clocks forward tonight, so that's 1 less hour you will have to wait... Quote
