I thought we may have a chance with this kid.  He is/was Fuller's teammate and thought that may provide us with a possible "in".

Isn't Buzz Peterson always talked about when a lot of high profile jobs pop up?

 

He might not be there and many other things can happen between then and now.

 

Doubt that coaches are scratching him off the list at this time.  But could be wrong.

According to that article, we hadn't offered.  I'm wondering why not.  He held offers from Marquette, obviously, but also from Iowa State, Creighton and Northern Iowa.  And they noted his list was likely to get longer before it got shorter.  I've seen film on the kid and he's solid.  (Marquette and ISU offers, so duh on that.)  Plus, he put up good numbers. 

 

Nice thing is that since we didn't offer him, no one will be able to complain that Miles failed to close or something.
