rwhiston Posted March 12, 2024 Report Posted March 12, 2024 (edited) Is anybody going up to the cities for the tournament this weekend? Looking for some recommendations for things to do around the Target Center. Are there going to be any "Nebraska bars" or other events going on? I'm hoping to stay for the full weekend. I think the official Husker Alumni group already have had a Husker bar location downtown to meet up pre-game... I do not recall its location, however. Edited March 12, 2024 by AuroranHusker Quote
49r Posted March 12, 2024 Report Posted March 12, 2024 Probably should try to get a Jucy Lucy at some point: https://twincities.eater.com/maps/best-juicy-lucys-in-minneapolis-st-paul rwhiston and Cazzie22 1 1 Quote
Vinny Posted March 12, 2024 Report Posted March 12, 2024 Lyon’s Pub just a couple blocks from Target Center is a Nebraska bar. Tons of good restaurants/breweries in the North Loop area just north and west of Target Center. Basically pick a cuisine, and if there is that type of restaurant in the North Loop, it’s likely to be very good. As a former professional brewer, my favorite brewery in that area is Modist, but Bricksworth and Fulton are good options as well. Other than that the cities have a ton of great museums, many of which are in/near downtown. Those would be my recommendations for a weekend in that area. BLB115 Posted March 12, 2024 Report Posted March 12, 2024 Posting here as the marketplace page doesn't look like it get used anymore.I bought 3 all session tickets through the ticket office, but the 3rd person can't go now. Didn't have any luck reselling the ticket as an all session so now reselling each session separately. So I have one ticket in section 113 row W (aisle seat) that I'm looking to sell for $150 for the Friday evening session we are playing in. I would rather sell it to someone on here to make sure it's a Husker fan, and we can both avoid the ridiculous StubHub fees.I also have all 3 tickets for the Thursday afternoon session available if anyone is looking to go to that.Let me know if you are interested.Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk Quote
Handy Johnson Posted March 13, 2024 Report Posted March 13, 2024 I’d highly recommend checking out the Monte Carlo, it’s an old school Bar/Supper Club in the Warehouse District off of downtown. Quote
