Interesting trivia:

Annika Stewart leads the team in points... per minute played. Need her on the floor too.   Not by much..Markowski is close behind. They make the best use of their time on the floor.

 

And...

Sure was nice to see Jazz take more time to shoot a lot more.. She and Sam...and others for that matter just need to get their stoke back.  Maybe Jazz had the go ahead to shoot more??  ....and get "the feeing back".  Need her 3 shooting, and all the guards to make plays from the outside, to free up the inside more....and simply us more more versatile as a team, like we were early in the season, when everyone was doing their thing.

 

Issie and  Bella were really focused and effective yesterday.. Great to see them in good form.

 

Overall, we did many good things, shooting percentage was better again, not burning down the scoreboard, but playing  better in any event.  Everyone is going to use the press against us so we just will get used to it, like it or not....used to it interrupting our flow. 

 

We should have our nearly full squad back for Indiana, We'll be at home, and that can be big for us,...expect to see a real good  game. This team can get fired up for the big ones.

 

Wish we had more days to rest but it is what it is.

A little concerning Scoggin seems to be dipping in the three point pct., now at 41%. Outside of PSU and the Maryland games she is 1-4, 0-3, 1-6, and 1-7. We need her down the stretch to be a threat.

Also nice to see Jaz be a bit more selfish and call her own number. We need her point production. Some of her passing choices have turned into a turnover when she forces it too much.
