during BTN broadcast the other night, Vera Jones predicted Big Ten will get 6 in the tournament and might be able to squeeze out 7.

Wish it was another way...but realistically just don't see it happening..only 10 wins now. and a 12 loss loosing record. Really didn't expect that, but it is what it is.   

 

Not many games left. .....7 reg season TOUGH games LEFT , plus tourney

 

IF.....we can really turn it around,....which is very possible...at least an NIT bid ?

odds are looking at NIT bid. from NIT website: "Any team considered for an at-large berth must have an overall record of .500 or better. Overall record includes conference tournament games."

Something to strive for if nothing else.  More realistic from at least a fan's perspective.  Coaches always take it "one game at a time".
