Bugeaters1 Posted October 12, 2017 Report Posted October 12, 2017 May peace be with you Brain (Row6Seat10) Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Quote
huskerchode Posted October 12, 2017 Report Posted October 12, 2017 I never met him in person, but I chatted with him through private message a number of times. He was the type of guy that was genuinely interested in seeing the players succeed. He even had kind words regarding my daughter and her track performances her senior year. Seemed to enjoy a lot of sports and was very knowledgeable. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Quote
Flatlander Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 I just wanted to thank all of you for your kind words and prayers for Brian and our family. As has been previously stated he was entirely devoted to the Husker WBB program and this forum allowed him to share both his knowledge and passion with each of you. I took this photo March 3, 2013 after the Penn State game which was the last WBB game played at Devaney. After the recognition of the seniors I asked to take his picture there one last time. The origin of his username was from his original seat at Devaney (Row6Seat10) but it did not translate to the PBA. He frequently invited family and friends to use one of his tickets so to honor him our family plans to utilize them for the 2017-18 season just as he would have wanted us to do. Perhaps we will get the chance to meet some of you in person, we'll be in Sec. 118. Bruce Karnatz mwm89, Noah121, Norm Peterson and 6 others 2 3 4 Quote
Bugeaters1 Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 Now that I have seen his picture, he sat behind me in 118. I always that the guy who sat with was a brother or related to him because I thought that they looked a lot alike. Quote
Red Don Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 What Row and What Seat Bugs? Just goes to show you never know who you are (or might be) talking to. Thank you for the information Flatlander. It really does help to put things in their rightful places. I only wish I were 'local' so I could attend some games.` Noah121 1 Quote

hhcdave Posted November 20, 2017 Report Posted November 20, 2017 RIP to a staple of this board and a man who loved Husker Hoops more than any of us. A huge loss to not only his family, friends and loved ones, but also to the site. Sending family strength and prayers and thinking of him a lot. -dave Bugeaters1, Flatlander, Noah121 and 1 other 3 1 Quote
