practically 3 must wins. would put them in best position for NIT at-large bid. iowa will be very difficult. they are playing some of their best basketball now. no doubt will come into PBA with some swag! @nw will not be easy. should beat penn st @PBA minny beat them to a pulp @ williams. minny (6 w's in a row) might be the team to watch---have 3 tough games to finish. win out and the scenario exists huskers could be as high as a 4 seed for the BTT.?

just thought i would check on Amy Dilk's injury. hate to see those things happen to anyone. had x-rays today, but, no comment. according to the article, she injured that same knee twice in high school and had surgery.

been a tough ride for her------acl, wasn't really happy at ND and fought through some things, struggled with an illness, now another injury.

needed this one, imo. like i posted earlier, it is going to really be a struggle to even make NIT now--------and, no reason this squad shouldn't be at least an NIT team. i still think coach needs to keep adding better athleticism to the squad. it is what it is.

that's just the thing------opportunities to burn that press were right there!!!!!!!

i was going back and forth between the purdue and msu game. think they split those two games---just a gut feeling they pull a squeaker out with msu. i expect purdue game to be much more difficult second time around---either way you look at it.

minny @ indiana pulls the upset 65-61 wednesday night. big loss for indiana as Patberg goes down to injury 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter. x-rays have been taken on her shoulder (coach had stated it came "out of socket"). if it turns out to be "just" a dislocation, not sure how long she could be out----i would guess minimum of 2-3 weeks? just looked up shoulder dislocation---probably looking at month, or more. it MIGHT be possible she could be done----at least till NCAA Tourney (unless they really tank). have to see what degree her injury is.

regarding sports nightly with matt and the coach, i wish matt would ask some questions about her substitution patterns. i understand you can call in, but, i am not much of a phone person and don't have the patience to hold on a line. it is possible matt has asked and i missed that segment. haven't caught as many of the "matt with coach" shows this season.
