  1. Row6 -- sorry for the slow reply. Been away from my computer for a few days. I think they are both interested in NU, but I don't have any info on specifics. I can tell you Lanie Page's dad is coaching their summer team this summer called Mo-Kan Elite I believe.
  2. she is part of the really good Leavenworth h.s. team. it is a 5a public h.s.

  5. I think that it is very punitive, and that is why she is mad.
  6. My understanding is if she is granted the release, she can go somewhere and sit a year as a red shirt but be on scholarship, then be a sophomore eligibility wise the following year. If they do not grant the release, she can go somewhere and red shirt and sit a year, and be a sophomore eligibility wise, but she has to pay for school herself next year when she sits out as she couldn't be on scholarship somewhere else. That is her frustration as she is claiming she can't afford to pay her own way somewhere and sit out next year.
  7. Don't undersell how good the Leavenworth ks program is and the girls they have that NU has offered. They have a great stable of young kids right now and might well enter usa today top 25 next year. Tyler Johnson and Rachel Blackburn who have both been offered as 2015s are really good. I have not personally seen ibis so I can't compare, but I am sure that Johnson has to be at least close to as good. Lots of Big 12 and big 10 schools love her. Blackburn is in prospect nations top 60.
  8. Has Hannah made a decision yet?
  9. PAGE PRESENTED WITH GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR BANNER Lady Raider Kaylee Page was presented with the Gatorade Player of the Year banner at the USD 320, Wamego, Board of Education meeting Monday night. 10. anybody know where Hannah and Sadie are transferring to?
  11. They practice for about 2 days, tour a local hospital, and have a nice reception. it is about a 3 day event.
  12. They have reached out. she is not interested. she is a husker through and through.
  13. Thanks Row6seat10. It is fun to talk about a subject we all enjoy.

  15. That is a fun question Doc. I am pretty sure year in year out Kansas has more high level kids than Nebraska. I will take the ks all state list and cut and paste offers or commitments for the ks kids. Somebody should do the same for Nu and we can compare. That said, I have seen most of the ks kids, and not all of the Nebraska kids, but Jess is a difference maker so I say Neb. would win this year. Also, ks is bad about always taking one small town kid with big numbers and putting them on the super state team to keep the small schools happy. I would strongly argue KS "top 5" by awards isn't the top 5 by talent or current ability.
  16. Jasmine is a heck of a player too.. she and chandler at times get forgotten on this board. they are top level kids and winners.
  17. I just cut and paste what the rivals website had. I didn't add or delete anything. Yes she is going to NU. They must have either not known that or only listed kids that signed scholarship letters of intent. Syd Kuhn off that list is playing volleyball at notre dame and they didn't list that either I noticed.
  18. rivals.com 2014 KS All-State team: 2013-14 girls First Team: Jaylyn Agnew, Andover, 6-1, Jr. *Sam Bachrodt, Kapaun 5-9, Jr. (Drake) *Kendrian Elliott, Wichita South, 6-2 So Tyler Johnson, Leavenworth, 6-2, Jr. Toshia Jones, Leavenworth, 6-2, Jr. Kylee Kopatich, Olathe South, 5-10, Jr. (KSU committed) Jacee Kramer, Jefferson North, 5-7 Sr. (Emporia State) Shaelyn Martin, Salina Central, 6-0 Sr. (Kansas State) *Kaylee Page, Wamego, 6-1, Sr. (Nebraska) *Lannie Page, Wamego, 6-2, Jr *Keiryn Swenson, Maize, 6-1 Jr. (Tulsa) Kirea Rogers, Wichita South, 6-0, Jr. *Starting five Second Team: Rachel Blackburn, Leavenworth, Jr. Marleah Campbell, SM West (Wyoming) Sydney Kuhn, Kapaun Ericka Mattingly, Wichita South Lauren Mertz, Blue Valley Northwest - KSU Shelbe Piggie, Bishop Miege, So. 19. I have never heard a time limit. I assume ksu has to at least be back in a discussion since they changed coaches and it is 20 miles from her house.
  20. http://kansas-sports.com/ks/news/?id=2616&t=sports-in-kansas-girls-basketball-all-state-teams another list
  21. Madison Piper is really good. her dad Chris played with manning on ku's 1988 national championship team. She has a high Iq and is skilled. Issue for her at highest level will be what position does she play. she is a Charles barkley type 5'10" forward. Kendrian Elliott is ok but the Leavenworth bigs Blackburn and Johnson are both better. Johnson embarrassed Elliott in club ball last summer. Kierra Collier the 5'8" freshman pg from BV north is a good young prospect.

  23. Bishop Meige has some very nice players. they have won more state titles than any school in Kansas history. it is a catholic school in Kansas city. They have a nice soph pg, but I can't remember her name. They didn't have anybody at kaylee and lanie's level, but they just have more good kids. Wamego's 4-8 kids weren't as strong as the ones they had last year when they won the state title. 2 great kids no matter how good can't beat 5 solid players without some help The best team in Kansas all classes in my opinion would be 1) Leavenworth 5a; 2) Wichita south 6a, 3) Salina Central 5a; 4) maize 6a; 5) olathe south 6a 6) bishop meige 4a; 7).acquinas 5a 8) kapun 5a 9) Wamego 4a 10) Manhattan 6a. Bishop miege beat Jess Shepards team over xmas break in kc in a holiday tourney. Leavenworth is off the charts good. They may bounce into the USA today top 20 next year. They have 4 BCS kids (3 jrs) and a freshman. They go 6'3; 6'2" 6'1" accross the front line. NU has offered 2 of them and they could easily end up there. Rachel Blackburn and Tyler Johnson. Blackburn is in prospect nations top 60; and Johnson and Blackburn both grade out as 3 star 90 score kids on hoopgurlz. Blackburn is bigger, but Johnson is more dominant currently.
  24. Page sisters will play Wed night in Salina in the 4a state tournament. I believe they tip off at 6:30
  25. http://www.thewamegosmokesignal.com/Articles-Sports-c-2014-02-25-182708.113118-Kaylee-Page-recognized-as-leading-player-for-Wamego.html local article re: KJ. Her career pt total is pretty impressive because ks plays less games than a lot of states. 20 gm regular season and 25 gm max if a team makes state finals. I read Natalie Romeo crossed 2,000 earlier this year. Guessing California plays about 30-35 games per year.
