Mac’s head was probably spinning just like the rest of us from watching Fred’s recruiting. He finally has his bearings back and Got the offer out, albeit a bit late.

This poll was for Fred’s first class....Roster Building 101. Definitely earned an A+ all things considered. Next semester he will have a heavier course load. Chemistry, Psychology and whatever correlates to learning basketball plays.... I will go out on a limb and say Norm will have an end of the season poll circa April 2020. I hope we are still doling out A’s on that one!

Yikes if that is true. Are you sure the quote wasn’t “....but if you are discombobulated you are f#%€$d!”? Spacing is huge for making opportunities to attack. Driving lanes, open shooters, etc. Just because you are spaced out doesn’t mean you just stand there. And being a cluster f$&k on offense does not mean the defense will be too. It’s pretty easy to defend an offense that is tripping over themselves.

I can see why St John’s turned it around so quickly with Matt A on staff. They just needed a better head coach.

He was a Sunrise academy kid. Didn’t seem like we recruited it that much.

Two months ago I was penciling Jervay in as a 20 point scorer. I now think the number is closer to 14. Maybe even 12. We look to have some real options so we won’t need someone to play hero ball.

Nah. Blackshear is just making sure Roby goes to the NBA before publicly declaring he is transferring here. Trying to channel my inner Chester on this one.

I could see situations with Kavas playing the 5 to pull the opposing center out of the lane, making room for our big wings to take it to the rim. This team definitely has a lot of potential options.

I think by game 10 we will have a feel for what we have. It will take some time for everyone’s roles to be hammered out. We have a good schedule for this type of season so I don’t think our record will be adversely affected during the feeling out process. It will be fun to see the growth of the team this year.

I am pretty sure transfers can happen anytime. That was why Miles always held one back, right?

He does have a Saint John’s offer..... Matt A and Chester better get to work quick.

His game still reminds me of Niang. Scores at all levels, good passing skills. Maybe a bit undersized at PF depending on his measurements. I’ll take it up a level. He’s our Doug McDermott. Under recruited, a bit undersized, scores from everywhere. We won’t be able to keep him off the court. Kevin is going to do it to them until he is a two time AA. I have seen zero film showing he is not comfortable shooting from 28 feet so I will assume it is in his tool box until proven otherwise. Okay, this paragraph probably isn’t going to happen, unless it does, then I nailed it. too much hype for a kid without a Rivals profile?

So who do we put Chester on next? With the limited slots available we can be pretty picky.
