I think we're reading way too much into his tweets. The other day, he tweeted a smiley-face to an A&M commit that said he hoped Robinson would be joining him. A&M isn't even in his Final 5.
-
If it's down to us and an SEC team, I'm still not very confident. It's like Atewe all over again.

2016 SF/SG Josh Hall -> Nevada -> Missouri St

If he is a Barnes kid, we can probably cross him off the wish list -
Robinson tweeted with an A&M commit today. He'll probably shock the world and pick the Aggies.
-
He probably realized he's been tweeting a lot about OSU lately, so he threw out a Nebraska tweet to make things interesting. Or maybe he's messing with both us and OSU, and will end up picking LSU. Regardless I'm glad he's getting it over with, so then we can focus on this year's team

Pavelka tweeted yesterday that Agau is buried on the depth chart at Louisville. With Pitino's history of "cutting" players, maybe he'll come back home. I'm hoping Harriman can work his magic and find a good prospect out there somewhere. It's a long time until the Spring Signing Period.
-
Based on the timing, I'd be shocked if he doesn't pick OSU. They just lost out on their #1 Center prospect last night, and the next day Elbert has decided? Hard to believe that's just coincidence. Add the fact that he just visited OSU last weekend and the Twitter stuff, and it doesn't look good for us.

All of the recruited services listed Fuller at 6'7

I just don't think he's quite good enough at this point to say he wants to be a one-and-done or even two-and-done player. He's got potential, but he's only averaging like 12 points a game at the high school level. I don't think he's going to come into the Big Ten or Big East and dominate his first year or two. DeAndre Jordan averaged 26 points and 15 rebounds in high school in Texas, but only 8 and 6 at A&M. Yes he was still drafted, but not until the 2nd round. A couple more years at A&M would have really increased his draft stock.

He doesn't want to stay in college more than 2 years? I don't how I feel about him saying that.

Will this team be better in every phase?
The Coach replied to Fullbacksympathy's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I agree that it will be a more fun team to watch, but I disagree about being more disciplined. I don't expect Webster and Biggs to take care of the ball or defend as well as Talley. I don't expect our new post players to have the level of discipline that Ubel had. Those were veteran guys who knew what the Big Ten was all about. Several of our newcomers played JUCO or overseas last year where there is little attention paid to defense and fundamentals. -
Have we ever landed a recruit that worked with Adam Barnes? Just asking. It seems like they always end up elsewhere.
-
Georgetown seems to think that Elbert's recruiting is being "tainted" by his AAU Coach. Apparently he's the same coach that caused Perry Jones to be suspended at Baylor.
-
Epps is an unranked Power Forward. We already have a Top 150 Center in Hammond committed. If competition at this position is a consideration, that would seem to favor LSU.
-
Their Rivals Commit List only shows one commit (Epps). Regardless they are SEC so there's a good chance they will over-sign

Committed to Virginia

Wacker sighed with Boise State. He committed to them. Signing Period isn't until November 13. I wonder how Bolden's academics are. Wouldn't he have the same issues as Pinder?
-
I have to stop getting my hopes up about recruits. Any chance we still try to get David Wacker, or has that ship sailed?
-
I don't have a good feeling about Elbert as the time passes since his visit. Time to put the full-court press on Bolden and Pinder.
-
Yeah let's just take both Pinder and Bolden so we don't have to worry about who is better. These 2 plus Elbert and Hammond might give me a heart attack.

New PF/C offer 6'9'' David Wacker out of TX

If Georgetown still wants Elbert I think they'll get him. Our facilities are great but at the end of the day, they are still "Big Man U" and one of the best schools in the country.....and we don't have a trophy case or a former player in the NBA.
-
Walter seems like a great guy, I think he's going to be very good before he's done here. Now I'm hoping to see a similar article about Vucetic reshaping his body.

Hammond & Wacker, Interested in Opinions
The Coach replied to MandRHusker's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
I just don't see why Wacker's other visit is Boise if he really has offers from Colorado, Wichita St (a final 4 team), SMU, Texas Tech, and Boston College. Heck he has an offer from Pepperdine, I've been to that campus and let me tell you, visiting Malibu sure beats visiting Boise. I'm guessing we asked him to wait until the Spring Signing period if we land 2 more commits this fall. If we don't, then he'll sign in the fall. I do have a bad feeling we will strike out with Robinson and Bolden and end up with a class of Hammond, Wacker, and Deng. Which wouldn't be bad, but a bit disappointing. -
