Had just as good a year as past years. Just choked in the first round of the conference tournament -

Considering Medved was hired less than a year ago and his 12-19 record this year is probably not going to get him a bigger job....its not very likely Colorado St is looking for a coach this offseason so the theory seems pretty ridiculous. -
We aren't owed one. Violation of team rules is more than enough

To elaborate....the curiosity is if we circle back around on him with the likely new staff. Safe to say that an existing player or two will likely depart, as well as some of the incoming recruits. -

Be curious to see what happens in a week or two. -
I wasnt talking about Michigan. I was talking about us.

Not saying it helped. But that happens. His overall roster management killed us. Only one semester in his tenure where we were at the full 13 spots of recruited scholarship guys. To compound that issue, not only did he not fill the spots, because he made his living off of transfers, a great deal of the time, we had at least one, if not two players sitting out ineligible. He basically averaged 2.5 open spots every year when adding the spots that weren't filled with the spots that weren't eligible. Compound that with injuries and recruiting misses and thats why we were consistently short on depth. Also, while doing a good job of bringing in individual talent, he didn't really bring in talent that fit well together. More of a throw it at the wall and hope it sticks approach. Obviously the frontcourt management was a major fail as well. He hitched his wagon to Jordy, not once, but twice, and it cost him at least 3 players and quite possibly his job. Not pursuing a grad transfer big (even as a role player) was nothing short of negligence last spring. MIles lost some good players. Players that could have helped. But no one that couldn't have been replaced/loss mitigated had he been doing the other things right.

The odds of landing more than 1-2 players were basically zero. There’s far too many other good players in this league

It's possible he might. Not a given. Is he ready to play right away? Maybe Heiman puts on weight. Nothing I saw tells me he's anywhere close to taking time from Roby. Right now, no one who is capable of playing high quality minutes at the 4. It's possible we end up with those guys that allow Roby to play the 4. We absolutely do not have them right now.

MRI on knee today Washut said it doesn’t look good

Forgot about all those talented 5s we have waiting in the wings to take time from him
-
I really don't see a value for him in coming back under the current equation. He's going to be stuck playing the 5 all year. That doesn't improve his stock at all. He's going to be a SF/stretch 4 at the next level. If he's not playing there this year, I don't see anything to gain in coming back. He's going to have a learning curve either way. May as well get paid for it.

IMO, and IMO only, he's gone regardless. For many of the reasons you listed

And Moos was smart enough to win over Osborne. -

He had every opportunity to go elsewhere. He wasn’t going to come if he felt Moos wasn’t a capable AD -

I don’t distrust him. Frost wasn’t the stone cold lock people here want to believe. Sure we had the inside track, but we still had to avoid screwing it up -

Ehhh. IYAM, you’re either a successful program or you’re not. We are not. -
Always skeptical of 7’ but we definitely need the posts. So what the hell
