  1. Would like see us bring a transfer preferably junior to make junior class a class of three. A post would be preferable. Then would like us to have a class of four next year. Really excited to see the new crop of talent especially Miss Bourne.
  2. Our starters looked slow and disinterested. Long story short we got out hustled big time. The defense looked to be nonexistent at times and out position at times. Based off the two games I've seen Miss Haiby and Miss Verbeek would be my starters. Enough of the negative from me. On the positive side, we really do have nice pieces. Time to put the puzzle together. Love the freshmen I think they all brings some nice skill sets and athleticism to the table. Miss Brown may be the most versatile offensive player on the team ( can score inside, outside and i feel she is most effective in the mid range.)
  3. 86.4 points a game, seems to me the offense is sound enough. Blubber needs to figure out that it's ok to play defense. If that happens they can become a serious contender, since they have probably one of the top five players in the country.
  4. Actually rpi is very fluid as basically tracking the teams you have played ergo if they win you win. Also other teams you have not played are going up and down. As near as I can tell if we win 4 of the next 5 we should between 42 and 47. Should be inside the bubble since your last ten games carry more weight to the committee. Winning out should land us 37 to 41 and definitely in. Basically I see us needing some work done in the Big10 tournament. To feel safe and sound.
  5. They attack the offensive glass like no other in the big 10. Biggest key get a body on them when their shot goes up. No other way to say it we need to shoot 45% or better and having a player or two hot behind the arc would help.
  6. Michigan. If we beat Iowa I'd have to hear from the excuse machine that is Bluto. I just have no stomach for her.
  7. I am really disturbed that we are the only team without one conference game on the btn. For goodness sakes don't they look at the fan base.
  8. I did not see that coming. Wow. Thanks team, I just really can not stomach coach Bluder.
  9. 5 wins in the next eight and this is important, absolutely can not afford loss to either wisky or illinois.
  10. The thing that stands out to me is this is the first conf. win that we won in all phases. Boards, pts off TO's, fast break, shooting percentage, pts. in the paint we won all phases. Watch out B1G here we come.
  11. That's actually a disappointing number to me. I thought we were going to be around 5K.
  12. I haven't seen Purdue play once this season, so this should be interesting. So I have no insight into what the focus should be. I expect a good game GBR.
  13. Sorry my bad. Just a bit behind the times.
  14. Several mentions of the Iowa loss what Iowa loss. Also we only play Rutgers once and that is done. I think we are crossing men and women's teams circuits a bit. Let's just worry about the next 2. If we beat Purdue at home and Iowa away we are going to be set up really well. We should win 5 of the last 7.
  15. Satisfying just satisfying.
  16. We're up 5 at the half, that's better than I expected. Surprised Kate is finding room to operate. We do need someone to heat up outside. Most importantly we seem to be cleaning up the glass pretty well defensively.
  17. I was thinking this was a game tailor made for Miss Woods to come up big behind the arc.
  18. Nebraska's youth, coupled with our free throw shooting prowess, I suspect that Rutgers will be dialing up the thuganomics. Our ladies better get their tough on. Controlling the defensive boards and making shots from the charity stripe count is where this game will be won or lost. We are a much better shooting team.
  19. The most impressive thing on the stat line was 14/14 on FT's.
  20. Hud it's the whole rpi thing. In truth there would be very serious ncaa discussion if not for a foul call against Michigan. If we keep the pedal down, we will be getting some love.
  21. In truth I believe that we will have all the right pieces next year. Like any puzzle it takes a bit of time to figure out how they fit. Having something special in two years, I think he is right on the money.
  22. Against Michigan we played really great attacking offense in the first half and were a little loose on the defensive end. In the second half we played tough defense and did not really make enough shots. Hoping this is the game it all comes together.
  23. Seems to that Purdue did nothing to stop Gustafson ( hope that spelling is right). That being said we might want to play a bit of zone to limit Kate's foul potential. I really think this one will be won on the boards, limiting turnovers and for goodness sakes making foul shots. Coach Bluder knows how to read a stat sheet and isn't affraid to foul.
  24. Not sure the one on one match ups are the game. We could play zone to take away Thome and the three point line. Yeah, I know they are athletic enough to beat us on the bounce, but it's more a matter of what your willing to allow and what you're taking away. They are too athletic and too dynamic to take everything away without causing a potential foul issue for us. To me the biggest keys are hitting the boards to limit second chance points and get some of our own and respect the possession know SILLY turnovers. We seem to have about 6 to 10 silly turnovers per contest.
  25. 20? After Illinois we have very tough 5 game stretch. Mich., Iowa, Rutgers, Purdue, Iowa. If we win 2 of those 5, we should get 19 and be squarely on the bubble. 3 or more we will be playing for seating. It really is that simple.
