    Yes, the Sugar Land Space Cowboys defeated Omaha, 13-6. Brice Mathews was 1-5 with 1 RBI and 3 runs scored. He wound up hitting .231 with OPS of .748 at the AAA level this season. Brice played 3B in the Championship Game.

    Reports I have read indicated that Texas State could be headed to the 6-team Mountain West conference. But, since they're a STATE, shouldn't it be the Pac-12?!?

    Gutted out a solid Big Ten road game to pull away in the 4th quarter. Nebraska is 4-1. It's been a while since NU has had as good of a record as a 4-1 opening to the season. Let's keep getting better. On to a tough Rutgers team next weekend in Lincoln. GBR
