  1. Sounds like a good prospect for the Big Red. Nebraska needs to be unique in its recruitment process to stand out in their own right among the 18-team Big Ten. I like it a lot.
  2. Northeastern St.'s Keon Edwards played an exhibition game last night vs Tulsa: https://goriverhawksgo.com/sports/mens-basketball/stats/2024-25/tulsa/boxscore/13812 Wyoming's Oleg Kojenets had 3 points & 4 rebounds in 14 min. last night vs Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears: https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/game/_/gameId/401722406/conc-st-paul-wyoming
  3. Similar to Ramel Lloyd is the Husker career of Quaran McPherson, Q had 1 reb. in 2 min. on opening night vs GA Southern: https://niuhuskies.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/quaran-mcpherson/17535 After his one season at Tennessee State where he averaged less than 2 ppg, Denim Dawson is now at Angelo St.: https://angelosports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/denim-dawson/8260
  4. In case you wondered who these former Huskers were playing for now: Ramel Lloyd Jr. for Long Beach St. (vs La Verne Leopards) was 2 for 8 from the field (0-4 on threes) and 2-6 on FTs in 20 min. Matar Diop is at Loyola Marymount. Eli Rice was out on opening night due to injury at Penn State. Nebraska will play in State College, PA, on February 19, 2025.
  5. And it was much needed with Brice not on the court, for certain. We need Conner to be both efficient and an offensive spark.
  6. That's some great info, wondered about that last night after the game.
  7. Conner Ess3gian's 7-0 run on his own took the game from a 69-65 ballgame to an 11-point lead in a hurry. Much needed spark. Either Ess3gian or Griffiths have to go off for double figures, or it will be tough for NU. Fortunately Ess3gian had 13 last night, so it was 'in the bag' in the end. Really enjoyed seeing Worster (since I missed the exhibition) go to work. He's a bulldog.
  8. I thought that both Sam & Andrew were 'out' tonight.
  9. That was a fun one in Madtown. Huskers just swept NW to go to 22-1 & 12-0 in the B1G, the same record as Penn St.
  10. That was a fun night and was a sign of things to come.... only issue is that the 'things to come' consisted of their final 3 regular season games, ruining other teams' Senior Night at the bitter end of a very long season.
  11. The two guys mentioned for their rebounding acumen earlier in the thread, well, each of those 2 had only 1 rebound, namely Juwan & Rollie. Meanwhile, Berke pulled down a dozen rebounds. Am I missing something with the "rebounding woes"? It was an exhibition against a team that shot a ton of outside shots with a lot of weird caroms. I'm not too concerned after one weird exhibition game. Let's see how it goes in the next few weeks & come back to the discussion. Box out & grab the ball. It ought to be all right. NU has guys who can rebound, but only time will tell. GBR
  12. Is that worse than Mark Sanchez with his "butt fumble"?!
  13. Saw the score was CU 92-87.
  14. I thought Berke's rebounding was pretty darn good. Now, that was against a lower division squad, but #9 still had to secure the rock and he did that plenty of times.
  15. Manny Bando was selected two picks ahead of Xavier Johnson.
