  1. Better to have the TEN I see, than the one already at Tennessee.
  2. So, McDumass relented.... there's a war of words in the state, and Jayskers won! lol.
  3. He bolted as fast as Bill Byrne, ironic both ended up at A&M.....
  4. That's a shame. Pitt sucks. lol.
  5. I like all that, as long as the motor revs as high as Josiah's. GBR Always.
  6. At least 1-2 big dudes would need to be a good fit, we don't want to just take some guys & see if/how it sticks (see Matty Abdelmassih).
  7. Yeah, he was niiiiice.
  8. When the ACC implodes, what does Forbes do, then... become the CU coach?!?
  9. That last line had me rollin'!
  10. That's BS in 2024. Freddy's had his squad 29-14 in his past 43 games. He's building a winner in Lincoln. Recruits actually want to be at a program that supports its teams, too.
  11. Yep, when the rubber hits the road, the guys choose where they wanna be. Money certainly talks loudest, but fit is also a real issue with some. I want dudes who wanna be a Husker, first and foremost. GBR Always.
  12. Trav gonna Trav....
  13. Yes, it's mildly ironic...
  14. If that means that William Kyle III winds up in Lincoln, NE, then I'm perfectly okay with Omaha being in Winston-Salem.
  15. I'm tired of the extra seasons, but it has helped Nebrasketball, nevertheless... it's time to be done with it. Deion is a dipstick. This schtick will end horribly, I'd imagine, once his son is a QB in the league. Basketball is in a unique position in that a team basically only needs about 5-8 good enough players to go with 1 (or 2) star player(s) to be more than competitive. That's the point of development, a team can't just re-load every single year unless it's KU or Calipari at UK... I suppose now that opportunity is there for everybody, but I don't believe it is sustainable long-term. Time will tell...
  16. This ostensibly will be the final COVID 'extra' season of eligibility, so recruiting freshmen will be needed to fill out a roster going forward. You can't just solely recruit in the portal anyway, so a coaching staff recruits kids from an early age to make sure they know one another for future considerations. it's basically mass free agency in the minor leagues of basketball....
  17. Jamel White, he almost made a game-winning layup to beat Durant, yet NU lost 62-61 since JW missed a layup. And then he had off-the-court shoplifting charges... ended unceremoniously. I think NU still hired his uncle since Barry C. was nearing the end of his reign of terr(ible) basketball coaching in Lincoln...
  18. At least NU could take 2 of 3. That's the bare minimum. Need some sweeps... and how 'bout winning against KU & CU....sheesh.
  19. Gotta keep rollin'! NU left themselves little room for missteps. GBR Always.
  20. Seems like a near certainty.... And he's a dude, so that a good thing. GBR Always. Lefty's 4 Life in Lincoln!!!
  21. That sounds promising. . . ((UPDATE)) Then I read the follow-ups, *false alarm* lol. The SG news can be a boon..... still hopeful that WK-III and/or Milicic are 'N'!!!
  22. If they're *all* good enough defenders, I'd take a 3rd. Why the heck not?! lol.
  23. Yeah, Nebraska had a better conference record than KU. When's the last time that had happened..... sheesh, poor KU babies.
