# 1 priority on our list is learning how to play defense. We can't give up 100 points a game, and expect to win. Bryce and Verge do not get into proper position. They play too up and down. #2 priority is making 3's. In order to do that, we have to take better shots. Roster management needs improving. We need a Glynn Watson point guard. Someone that takes care of the ball, distribute, and can hit shots. I think that would help with our shot selection. My expectation for this year, was to avoid opening day at the Big 10 tournament. I don't see that happening barring a crazy turnaround. We will find out next Sunday what this team is made of.

For some reason we can't make 3's. We fix free throw shooting. The players we have returning this year, shot 36.0 % from 3 last year (Lat, Kobe, Trey, Walker, Andre and Lakes). This year they are shooting 28.3 %. I think we can still get them shooting 36.0 %. That will come down to Verge distributing the ball, and not dribbling around. Today, he played like USD Verge and not NC State Verge.

(This is going to be a light hearted post on a serious situation) I think I have our curse figured out. The date is 1/14/19. I am excited to see Nebraska take on a ranked Indiana team. Around noon, I go to get a soda in the break room and pass out. I am taken to the hospital. They want to keep me for observation. Of course, no TV. I am following the game on my phone, and see us go out to a big lead. After that, I decide to take a week long nap due to a PE. I think God said that for him saving my life, I can never see a Nebraska NCAA tournament win. At that point in time, we were a lock for the NCAA tournament. Since that time we are 20 - 58.

We need Verge to replay this game 5,000 times, and see what he needs to do. If we get this Verge, we can make some noise in conference. The problem is that he can't sustain it and reverts back to USD Verge.

The sad part is Bryce gets called for a less obvious foul with 7.2 seconds left to give NC State a chance to win.

Don't forget the double dribble. The NC State player dribbles, picks up the ball and dribbles it, again. I believe it led to their game winning basket.

I was just researching that, and was going to make a comment on that.

I figured out what happened in the scrum. Lat was ejected. Webster and Tominaga were given technical foul, but not ejected. I could go on forever on missed calls, but Seabron's dunk when he did a chin up and did not called for a technical was another bad call.
