  1. According to some different tweets out there. Tim is holding open tryouts for UNL students this Thursday. If we could get a HHC on the team... think about it... think about it...
  2. Don't have my tickets with me, so do we get runza's if we score 70 and lose? Fat men of America want to know.
  3. They are here. Not bad, Will be nice to see what they have for us as the year goes bye to remember the BOB with.
  4. Yeah one of my crushing moments in my life. Was sick the night we played.
  5. I personal liked how John Thompson at Georgetown did it back in the day. Be about 10 deep and run them in and out as needed. It also helped to have the big time bigs he had.
  6. Only if it is in bold print. I kid, I kid, Sorry Jimmy just had to.
  7. The human drone.
  8. Maybe the planes are too small?
  9. Says this about him in one article: BCC returns four players from last year squad and also brought in a quality recruiting class. Leading the returnees is 6-10, 210-pound power forward Gary Gaskins. Gaskins, who was invited to the Jerry Mullen JUCO Top 100 Camp this past summer, has scholarship offers from Oklahoma, Florida Atlantic, South Alabama, AUB and Southern Mississippi. He also has gotten interest from Marshall, Marquette, Tennessee, Mississippi St., Wright St. and UNC Wilmington. Returning Players Gary Gaskins: Gaskins, a late bloomer, averaged 5.9 points, 6 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and shot 64.6% from the field for the Titans in 2011-12. He is long and athletic with great shot-blocking skills. Gaskins still has to work on his low post game offensively but does have the ability to knock down 12-15 foot jumpers with some consistency. July 9, 2012 - Brevard Community College basketball player Gary Gaskins has been invited to the Jerry Mullen JuCo Top 100 Camp, the most prestigious, invitation-only junior college showcase in the nation. And finally: As a freshman Gaskins averaged 5.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.2 blocks in 16 minutes of play while sharing time with two teammates who went on to sign with Division I schools. Shulman's description of Gaskins' style of play evokes memories of former FAU center and Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year Brett Royster - though Gaskins' offensive skills appear to be much further advanced. "He's 6-10. He's very long. He's very athletic. He flat out jumps out of the gym," Shulman said. "He can make a mid-range jump shot but has to work on his back-to-the-basket game." This is what stuck out most to me. Late bloomer and has a year in the Air Force. And backed up two guys who went DI. At least it is something to think about.
  10. In one of the articles I found, it did say he backed up some player that was a DI player. So his stats aren't great. But he was invited to some big time Juco thing that only the top 100 go to, so he does have that going for him. If I have time I will go look for it.

  12. I don't like Creighton. Well you told me to.
  13. Thanks guys will help with the fire storms.
  14. Just for you baller.
  15. Heck Norm, go to AtrFX and get them printed up and I'm sure you could sell out of them before the second game. I would buy 4 of them myself, even though I'm long past being a student.
  16. My hatred came about when two different things happened. 1) the year that Creighton had an RPI of like 5 and we played them at the Bob, this drunk Creighton fan wanted to fight me because I was just some "stupid farmer" I was a 32 year old 2nd grade teacher at the time. Just laughed it off until a few years later we once again beat the Jays and this kids screams at us as he is leaving at the 5:00 min. mark. "We just lost to a bunch of F***ing HICKS" Just could like them any more after that. Guess I'm just a hayseed born and raised in that small town of Lincoln.
  17. yeah... tonight's powerball numbers are: 0, 12,37,29,86 and powerball number is 1351/2 At least that is what I'm feeling.
  18. Coaches have Indiana #1 according to ESPN
  19. I thought it meant that Cazzie22 had contributed to the thread.
  20. Hey cip we can drink now, Jimmy just left a message.
  21. That's why I was thinking that the NCAA had come up with a ruling for AAU coaches and being hired and bringing players with them. Dalonte Hill was the reason for the new rule, but guess that was just me having a senoir moment.
  22. Yeah I thought so but some where in this thick brain of mine it said you couldn't do that any more. Thanks for helping out the old guy.
