I actually thought we came out of the gates pretty well. I think assists on our first 3 or 4 baskets, got out to 13-3 at the first media timeout. Really went to the crapper when the subs came in and the defense didn't recover until sometime after halftime. As much as I like him, breidenbach had no business being on the court tonight. Looked awful out there on both ends tonight, just slow and clumsy.

A quick google says 4-6 weeks is a common recovery time for a broken foot. So he could be back around Christmas. Hopefully we have figured some stuff out by then

man, I don't know how many times I have thought that if someone told me 4 years ago what a bust both of those guys would have been how much I would have laughed at them....and yet, I have a hard time believing this team won't struggle to get to 10 wins right now. So maybe 25 wins in 3 years? No way Fred makes it through that. Tre might be out for god knows how long on top of everything else. Just disappointing. Football and basketball both are making me look forward to the next thing earlier and earlier every year. Football isn't even officially over yet and I'm already past hoops and on to checking the baseball signing class. -

What will our rotation look like next year?

To the point about how deep this team is, I'm wondering what that does to the guys used to playing a ton of minutes. Are you always going 100% if you(and the coach) know your 80% is still better than whatever the backups bring? Are there talented guys coming off the bench/starting who are more willing to make the hustle plays because they don't need to save energy and/or it's a much tighter competition for minutes? Assuming Fred can manage the egos, I'm interested to see what we do with the extra effort guys should be willing to put forth. -
Should have figured this would be where that got posted

This seems like the right place for this: https://www.seahawks.com/news/seahawks-sign-former-iowa-state-basketball-player-michael-jacobson Good for him, I hope it works out. -
It does sound like he was coasting, but why would you pay him 3 mil to go away for not putting in effort? Are there not clauses in contacts at this level for actual performance?

Rutgers was a reschedule, so they stuck with the og senior night

I've noticed that McGowen likes to just stop or cut right in front of people when bringing the ball down the court in traffic. Pretty heady way to pick up 2-3 cheap fouls a game on the other team. Seems like he has eyes in the back of his head for a defender coming down the court a little out of control.
