  1. Baylor 76 Nebraska 58 I believe this is a nightmare matchup for us. Baylor is an outstanding rebounding team and I believe their zone defense will cause us all sorts of problems. Hope I'm wrong
  2. Suicide watch? Really? A little much. Not a joking matter.
  3. I believe they absolutely will be cheering for Nebraska because they'd rather play us than Baylor. As a Nebraska fan, I want another shot at Creighton, but I will NEVER cheer for Creighton
  4. According to ESPN, he is 0-5 this season after going 2-13 last season. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/_/id/62739/benny-parker
  5. Likely a stupid question, but wouldn't we want Wisconsin to win the B1G Tournament since their RPI is 6th and SOS is 2nd? Or does it not make much of a difference at this point? Thanks
  6. Any updates from Palm? Are we still likely in after today's game? Thanks
  7. As others have stated Vucetic is not a B1G player. As for Benny getting Tais minutes he definitely is. You cannot look at total season minutes when there were games Benny got 6 minutes or less earlier in the season. If you looked at the last 10 games I would suspect their minutes would be even. Excellent point regarding the minutes between Webster/Parker. I went back to the last 9 games (where Benny's increased). Over the last 9 games Parker is averaging 21.6 minutes to Webster's 15.9 (includes the 9 min he played vs. Wisconsin).

  9. 32.3: Shields 31.7: Petteway 28.1: Gallegos 23.5: Webster 22.7: Pitchford 19.0: Rivers 17.3: Smith 14.6: Parker 08.2: Hawkins 04.9: Peltz 02.3: Vucetic 02.0: Kurkowski 01.7: Menke My first thoughts are I wish Parker would get more of Webster's minutes and I still don't understand why Vucetic has not redshirted since he arrived. He has played a total of 34 minutes in his two seasons. Might has well redshirted him and used Kurkowski (based on the similarity of their playing time). Thoughts?
  10. Perhaps a useless topic, but one I was interested enough in researching. Terran has committed 116 fouls in 31 games (3.7 per game). He has fouled out of 5 games (UMASS, @Creighton, Arkansas State, Illinois, and Ohio State). It seems he always gets 1-2 "stupid" fouls where he misses a shot and quickly reaches in and fouls. Maybe it's frustration. I know he's a competitor and works his tail off, just hate to see when he misses a shot and hangs his head. That being said, I'm very happy he is a Husker and am excited to see how his game evolves. GBR!
  11. This is awesome! However, I fear there will be chaos if we are not selected. GBR
  12. Open to the public? So there's no priority given for season ticket holders?
  13. Winners Indiana Ohio State Penn State Iowa
  14. Most schools, actually. Iowa is putting together a pretty good looking class, and from what I understand so is Northwestern. (Northwestern!) Maryland is bringing what I understand to be a top 25 class in as well. Also keep in mind that Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, and Minnesota really underperformed this year and will be looking to have greatly improved seasons in 2014-15. Finally, our schedule is going to pick up in difficulty next year, so we're going to have to work hard to match (or improve on) this year's record. I believe it's Illinois that has three stud transfers sitting out this season
  15. Rebounding is key. We have given up far too many offensive boards lately. 9 to Purdue, 16 to Penn State, 9 to Michigan State, 14 to Illinois. Obviously we won all four, but that Illinois game easily could have been a loss at PBA.
  16. Lunardi has Nebraska as one of his "next four out" however has Minnesota in his "first four out"? Makes no sense to me. Minnesota is fading fast. http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology
  17. Illinois 70 Nebraska 69 All good things must come to an end
  18. I think we beat Purdue, lose @ Illinois, beat NW, win @ Indiana, and lose vs. Wisconsin
