Hard to consider your critiques of our fans given your history of Husker player bashing. The 'ol glass house concept.... Two different topics and has nothing to do with the other. The only players I "bashed" as you said were Sek Henry and Gallegos. Just honest evaluations of players who I don't think did much or have done much yet have got plenty of playing time. So I'll go wash my glass house now.No need to put "bash" in quotes, 'cause that's exactly what you do to hard-working,decent players who gave the Husker their all over multiple years. And I guess they "didn't do much" other than cause us to win many games that we wouldn't have won without them. As I stated before, just cause you work really hard doesn't make you a good player. I have given credit to many players especially those who were more skilled and people said they didn't work hard like CSH, Diaz, Bear, Jeter, Ubies, and others. Honest evaulation of a player and what their role is and questioning why they play so many minutes is valid. I never said they didn't work hard and weren't a fit for what they did. And honestly, they haven't won many games over the years, let's be honest. Not something to be proud of and hopefully we get the right players who will. Of all the stiffs we've had here in the past 12 years, you singling out those 2 guys just seems pretty strange, and over the top. Way better players than you realize. Who would you have played instead of Sek--all those studs we had on the bench? Who would you play this year instead of Ray? Seriously. Questing his minutes this year when we can put in Menke instead is absurd.Bear, McCray, Beranek, CSH....I wasn't singling them out just stating my point on what I thought of them as a player. And I blame more the Coach and system for not playing the more talented players and holding players back. That's why we have a new coach. I have never bashed Rayes. Unfortunately there isn't any options this year, but jacking up wild 3's off screens from running the baseline all night when you used to penetrate and elevate does no good. Anyone could take the shots he does at any point in the shot clock. I do like Menke as a ball handler. I do like JT as a penetrator. I think Rey needs to pull it back a little. I don't see how giving an opinon on a player is over the top. I assume you are also satified that the football team wins 9 games every year too and would never talk about a player being out played. Uh, saying you are counting the days until you never have to watch him play again probably counts as a bash. No different than Coz saying it's a good thing Ubel is gone. Wrong players, wrong degree of criticism. Had you kept it to your thoughts on specifics to Rays game, that's one thing, but singling this guy out to want off the team immediately is indeed over the top. If you remotely think we would be better off playing Menke and Tyrance, that says all we need to know about your player evaluation knowledge. Just like thinking Sek was terrible, when he wasn't anything close to it. He averaged less than 9pts a game, was an average 3 pt shooter, a below avg ft shooter for a guard and wasn't the best defender that Doc made you believe. And he played almost 30 mins a game. It's not like this year where there aren't any other options. And how dare you bash Tyrance and Menke. That is terrible. These are walkons that put their heart and soul in this program. That is so low of you. Glass House. Dude you should quit while you are only way behind. We've all seen posts where you bash individual players knowing that we didn't have better options. This is why wins are so hard to come by this year. We just don't have a better option. You want to rip on a coach that's fine, but some of the things you've said about players is way out of line. Reyes and Sek work(ed) their rear ends off and they don't deserve being bashed. Like HB I question why have choosen to single these 2 players out....strange.

Yes, this is the official explanation. It's just not taking with me. We stick in bodies that aren't "ready" and aren't going to help us win directly all the time. But it's entirely possible that I'm just hung up on the lack of big bodies and I hate to see one sitting right there doing nothing. As opposed to doing nothing on the court.

The situation we are in right now is one that Tim has experienced in the past. This is a very delicate balance for the remainder of the season. Blowouts are going to occur in bunches this year.

This is a good move. First off Benny needs to get that knee healed up, secondly teams have been playing off of our pg. We need to have all hands on deck for our scorers.

I'm still looking for a replacement basketball hoodie. The one I have is 10+yrs old. My wife absolutely hates it because it looks like it belongs in a rag bin. I told her that I'd replace it if she can find me a replacement. She has yet to find one. On a side note 90% of my husker gear is sports neutral.

If we win 15 games this year with this group then Coach Miles should be a COY candidate. I predict 7 non-con wins and 4 con wins.

The media is trying to figure out if he is for real or not. In the short time he's been at Nebraska I can assure them that he is like this all of the time. I pray that he gets things turned around here and can stay a long time.
