I bet we move Harriman up to assistant head coach or whatever is 2nd in line. This just means its time for Kenya to step up a bit on the recruiting front and reel some guys in. I think Smith got Fuller, Hawkins, and Tarin. Harriman got Tai and Pinder. Need to grab a guy with connections. Any chance at all we pick up Coleman again? This time as an assistant coach with recruiting power? Would probably help get Morrow.

I think Wagner will be taking his talents to a smaller school next year. In fact, Miles even said so much in one of his weekly radio shows this year. His quote went along the lines of - It's too bad we won't ever get a chance to work him out full strength while at Nebraska (due to injuries). Wagner's father is close friend to Miles and that contributed to Miles allowing the walk on opportunity. Dang. Hadn't heard that. Thanks for the update

Heck I'm even excited for Tim Wagner in the future. The dude averaged 25 a game in high school. Maybe by the time he graduates he can be a player like Spike Albrecht at Michigan. I don't know, I'm just really excited about the direction of this program. Rather than blind optimism, you can actually see this basketball team "turning the corner."

I really think the freshman this year will break out next year. Nate has a scorers mentality. Him and Fuller will lead a bench group that will be able to score a lot. Maybe not defend as well as you would like, but those two can stroke. Nicks shots almost never hit rim. I'm so excited for him next year. It's a little early, obviously, but if you can put a distributer like Tarin Smith or Benny on the floor with Nate and Nick spacing the floor, that offense is deadly. You could put Tai in there to slash too. A 5 man would really solidify this team. I don't even care if he can do a hook shot. If he can protect the rim and get around 7 offense or defensive boards a game, this team will be right back here next March.

It will be interesting to see if he sticks it out in Lincoln. If he does come back I hope he's a different player next year. I certainly think he comes back, I just meant I hope he can catch a flight home. Everyone else on the team got to but him and vooch over Christmas break.

I hope Tai gets to go home for spring break. He hasn't been back since when he got here during the summer.
